Why does it seem like most women do not date bodybuilders?

women really dont find 100kg+ roided up people attractive, sorry to tell all you guys who think getting huge is going to get you laid, its the complete opposite.

We had a guy that used to get all the girls. got into lifting properly, now he can only get fat chicks, or girls you wouldnt ever want to introduce your rents too.

75-85kg lean is what the girls want. srs

Girls prefer a lean, skinnier physique while women prefer someone with a little more muscle and meat. At least in my experience.

There you go, you nailed it. Look for women over 30, below 30, most men are in decent shape, too much competition for GIRLS. Women over 30 have less goodies to choose from in the men over 30, they all get fat. I get lots of looks from over 30 women, the only under 30 women I get looks from are ones really into fitness, because they can see difference between skinny and muscle.

Stop flattering yourself. Most women don't date bodybuilders because they are boring knuckleheads that only care about how they look and nobody wants to be around people like that. Go play a sport and get outside interests where women actually want to be so they can see that you aren't going to be pumping up and drinking protein all day until you go tan.

Just get tired of people "categorizing" people by their lifestyle. I am a bb'ER. I do compete. But I also have a wife and three kids that I spend plenty of time hunting fishing and camping with. On top of their sports and school activities.. its how in how wisely you use your time. So to say all bbers are knuckleheads that don't care about anything but protein and the steel is BS.
 
Well I just got done with leg day. Going to cook myself a top round steak on my George Forman grill here at work and a sweet potato with a salad. I may not compete in bodybuilding just yet, but I am for sure practicing the bodybuilding lifestyle. I must take my creatine scoop as well. Its been 30 minutes since I lifted.

Wow. I didn't mean to start all of this. Come on men. Let's agree we all work hard at what we do and are extremely proud of our results, yet still strive for perfection on a daily basis. Perhaps some of us try harder than others in one or more areas, yet, we all still work as hard as we possibly can because we care about becoming the absolute strongest version of ourselves (props to Eliott Hulse for coining that phrase). So, ok, some may compete and some may not. I have a lot of respect for those who step on stage. Still yet, those of us who don't - not because we don't want to - still battle with the nutrition aspect and getting up in the morning to prep food and make time to kill it in the gym. Can we agree are brothers in that regard? I'd like to think so.

So, maybe we can all just settle on "weightlifter" and just go back to supporting one another.............

I love the British people! I once went to London on vacation. While riding the train(tube), which was really packed, here was a young lady standing in front of me wearing a silky, short, blue dress. She backed up to me and started rubbing her butt(bum) all over my package, then proceeded to use her hands. Yeah the British people were great! I was like, who f... lifts stones? I don't know how big are the stones? Haha, I didn't know it was a measure of weight!

Yes I agree too. I just meant that just because your alpha doesn't mean you shouldn't look after your kids. But, I can see what QuinoaSucks meant now.
 
Women like men who are in shape and have some muscle..now if you mean Kai Green size when you say "body builder" then my guess is the "average woman" doesnt prefer that look. Huge men are more attractive to body builder women Id say.
 
To briefly address the sub-topic -- the idea of sculpting one's body through exercise existed long before bodybuilding as a professional beauty contest ever existed.

Therefore, yeah, you don't need to be a pro to be a bodybuilder. If you are a person who lifts weights (and monitors your food intake, etc.) for the purpose of transforming yourself into something closer to your vision of an idealized physique, you are a bodybuilder.

Powerlifting, on the other hand, is a specific sport with a specific skill set that was developed for competition. So comparing the two is a bit flawed.

That aside -- regarding the original question -- have you ever seen a woman who was RIDICULOUSLY attractive... I mean, a 10 on all externally observable categories...and when looking at her, you made up some excuse in your head why she wouldn't be worthy of you? You might have said, "well she's probably not very smart...she's probably very materialistic...she's probably a slut" (or whatever).

Be honest.

I'm not asking if you think that sort of thing every single time, but have you've ever thought that kind of thing -- or at least can you acknowledge that this is a very common type of human thought?

Same thing with women & bodybuilders. Very common thoughts (some of which have already been hinted at in this thread) might include -- "he's probably stupid as a rock...he's probably incredibly vain...he's probably a womanizer."

Of course, it doesn't help that sometimes these stereotypes are true...I mean, at one point most of us did fantasize about how much more sex we'd be getting once we were really built.

And hey, more often than not we DID start getting a lot more sex once we were built.

They have to go home to their fat husband so when they go out with their gf's they give blow jobs to get off. Let them play with their *****. When I was at the club a big bodybuilder came up to me and he asked me to **** his wife. She was letting me feel her ***** in the car while he was driving. Then we went to their hotel room and they made me get naked. When I saw him naked I got soft and put my clothes back on.
