Who uses HumaPro?

We participate in a hobby/sport/lifestyle in which dramatic in short periods of time isn't in the cards. People expecting differently, should probably take up another hobby/sport/lifestyle. Having said that, we can see marked difference in "some" data showing that a 2:1:1 4:1:1 and 8:1:1 BCAA profile could have different effects.

We don't live in vacuum. What didn't worked for me when I was 28, seems to help me now. What works while I'm keto, doesn't do much using a traditional diet. What I really don't understand is if people do enough research, they understand all of this isn't an all or nothing, black or white, right or wrong scenario but it seems some well known "nutritionists" tend to take that view until they are proven wrong....And they often have been over the last 15yrs.

15yrs ago, spiking insulin with 50+ grams of sugar and maltodextrin was literally pushed by the experts....the same people who are against it now.
Fair enough; there's more than one way to skin a cat as well. I've seen studies have success with low doses of whey with added leucine, EAAs with added leucine, etc. I still think this falls under the, perhaps relatively broad, umbrella of an EAA supplement, as it is largely, by definition, an EAA supplement, no?

Bringing up the funding aspect of his research seems to be a way of trying to either discredit the information, or taint the discussion which if you listened to the guy for 3 hours would probably come to the conclusion that it isn't the case...since his main area seems to be helping epileptic kids.

Nope, just called full disclosure for the 99.9% of the AM'ers that you *know* won't listen to one minute of the 3h podcast. I have no problem with anything I've heard so far (and now listening to the second 3h show... with one more to go).

I just don't think its disclosure. You could make a case for Dr Wilson who he works with as he at least ventured into the "supplement world" but Dom seems to be genuine in his research. The performance and bodybuilding stuff is secondary to him.

There is another podcast with Dr Rhonda Patrick which is good.

Did I say anything that he himself didn't say on the show? Since I said I didn't hear anything that I had a problem with, I was literally "Bullet Pointing" everything in the BCAA section. I want to have Dom's baby - how's that? :D I think we may just have a difference in using the word "full disclosure" but I'm not too bright, so forgive me :D

Oh please, don't play the "I don't know what I said" act. You're a bit smarter than that.

If you think me, restating exactly what he said himself in relation to the BCAA portion, ..... nah, scratch that - lets try this: You're inferring something I wasn't implying. If you want to say I *was* implying something, God Bless America and the First Amendment.

Of course you were implying something, as I said. Bringing up the funding and his relationship to Mike only serves to try and discredit the information. You say it's full disclosure but you know it's not. If you wanted full disclosure you would have found out he's been doing this long before Mike and coming to similar conclusions. But it is what you do

So off base on this one, but fun to read. If I had a problem with anything, I'd have nooooooooo problem calling BS on it. Hell, he basically said the only reason he likes SV, is because of the flavoring, LOL. They're friggen BCAAs for Christ sake - nothing special about *any* version. Are you trying to deflect from the Humapro is just EAAs and how does 40g=225g, and where are the 5 studies discussion? ? The final word can be yours, and have a Happy Arnold Classic weekend!

I'm not sure I even mentioned Humapro. I really don't care. I'm sure his data shows a bit more benefit of BCAA's than tasting good, but if thats all you noticed...well...I can't help you then. lol.

I don't think I'm off base at all.....there literally is no other reason to mention who funds it and who's he's friends with other than to imply "something".

But you think I'm deflecting? THAT'S just funny.

Yes I would say that it is but many EAA products have peptides which I theorize don't seem to be handled the same way as free form amino acids.

HumaPro now has a Rocket Pop flavor
