Who can beat Anderson Silva?

A lot of 205ers could give Anderson a run for his money and he probably should move up in weight class. At 185 and under though very few could contend. I thought that Akiyama could possibly cause problems but after the Misaki fight I don't feel that way. Same with Kang, after getting KOd by Akiyama I have no doubt Anderson would do the same. I think Okami could frustrate Silva though and pull out a win.

GSP is too small and the reach disadvantage would mean him eating several shots. He might be able to secure a takedown though and pound or sub Anderson. They have pretty similar styles but Anderson has a better chin and I think once GSP gets tagged he won't want to stand and will resort to telegraphed shots and get pounded or subbed.

BJ Penn has a solid chin and I think may fair the best against Silva for anyone under 185. In the end he probably gets outmuscled but I'd like to see how he withstands Silva's striking.

Don't tell me I've found a fellow Akiyama fan? I've been a fan of the guy since he beat Saku. Smirnovas/Manhoeff just made it worse. Then he smashed Kang(Rodja's fav MW) and it was a full blown love affair. The Misaki fight was epic, and possibly unfair. Akiyama is the real deal, nasty judo, and big power, but he can't fvck with Anderson.

Akiyama is just a dirty fighter. Both the Saku and Kang fights were VERY controversial, so I have my doubts. Misaki on the other hand is one tough SOB and I love watching the guy fight.

Tried to edit my sh*t, but failed. Misaki is a beast, I love the guy, but why was the Kang fight controversial?

I saw a vid, where they showed Akiyama putting something inside of his wraps, but it was extremely questionable. If he did, fvck him, but I need some proof. Did you see after the Akiyama/Misaki fight when Misaki told him he was a dishonorable b*tch? Crazy. I don't know what to think. Misaki called him out for being self-absorbed and not fighting for the children? I like Misaki. I would like to like Akiyama as a person, but am not sure what to believe.
 
There were also allegations that Akiyama loaded his gloves for the Saku match as well. He certainly has admitted to greasing himself up and does seem to be of questionable character. But he still possess a strong skillset and it will be interesting to see what path his career takes. Of course Anderson would slaughter him in a fight but at this point who wouldn't he maul?
