Which waxy maize do you take?

I want to drink a waxy maize shake immediately after a workout in the gym
for awhile and see how that goes. Which one do you guys recommend?
Or better yet, give me some suggestions for alternate means of
carbs or insulin spike immediately post workout. Also, do you guys
take your carbs right away and than 10 minutes later your protein, or
do you take your carbs and protein together? I'm just trying to figure
out the best set up for post work outs. Thanks!!

the idea is to take a simple sugar with protein which causes an insulin spike and shuttles aminos into the blood then muscle.Im not entirely convinced by that. Why? because it would seem even though whey is a fast digesting protein , it takes 45 min to get into the blood stream from what ive read , then into the muscle. So thats 45 min wasted after youve trained.
i would suggest either a drink of whey protein before you train so that the amino acid level peaks while you train and an intra wo drink of bcaa s so that after training the aminos are already there to carry out repair/building process.A simple sugar drink you can take straight afterwards if you want. 1-1.30 hours later eat a meal of protein veggies and slow carbs.
imo dextrose is just as good as wms.

I agree on the dextrose. Sometime I do a maltodextrin/dextrose mix

I don't recommend any refined carbs; they are empty calories and the GI is unnecessarily high. Oatmeal, rice, potato, etc will start getting into the blood stream in 5 or so minutes.

i like vitargo, dark matter, massport. Any thing with similar texture to that is a go.

is the amylopectin content thats of importance which tapioca starch is of the highest at like 77 % amylopectin.

unless genetically engineered to be 100% amylopectin, thats the highes youll find.
