Whey Protein questions

I got my first supplement, whey protein powder. I'm bulking right now.

When do you think is the best time to take it?

How many times should I take it each day?

What is the best liquid to mix it with usually?

Is there anything I shouldn't mix it with that would keep it from digesting well?

It all really depends on what your diet looks like.

For the most part, you really want to get most of your protein intake from whole food sources.

Generally, the best times to take whey are upon waking, and before and after workouts.
 
Best time to take it - post workout

How many times to take - Try to take max 2 times a day, if possible get all your protein sources from whole food and restrict whey protein to just PWO

Best liquid to take - No best way but depends on your diet and goals. If you are bulking you can take with milk and if you are cutting can just take with water

Anything you shouldn't mix - if you are referring to PWO, try not to have too much fats in your shake, will slow absorption, other than that you can take anything with it, just how fast or slow you want absorption to be
 
i sometimes mix some into my yogurt, depending on the flavor.

besides that, i have used optimum nutrition's Any Whey in soup. That worked out as well.

i havent gotten too experimentive yet. Give it a shot.
