when to run for a lean bulk

Hi, i'm currently going to start bulking up again and i want to run to keep off some of the fat.i was just curious what is the best time to run during a bulk to minimize muscle loss? i've read most people say right when you wake up before you eat anything, or right after a workout, would these be the best?
 
In the morning on an empty stomach, or directly after training would be the 2 ideal times to hit up cardio. Just remember to not overdo the cardio if you're trying to bulk. Keep it to 3 days max, at low intensity for ~30min.
