when to Retain?

The advertisement on Anabolic Xtreme's website says to take Retain post cycle, prior to PCT? So I should hold off starting Tamoxifen for a month while taking Retain? I couldn't find anything stating the reason. I'd be more comfortable taking it during PCT.

start both immediately after your done with whatever your doing. IF it's anything you don't want to put a hold on its a SERM during PCT.

Exactly. Retain is an anti-catabolic agent ideal for PCT.

FYI-in most cases I prefer to start my anti-cort products 1 week prior to starting PCT, that way it's fully circulating and working when your done with your stuff.

i read somewhere that cortisol has rebounding effects just like estrogen, anyone know if this is true? So in essence you would just be delaying the inevitable? Still good either way but anyone know if cortisol rebounds?

Tapering would be good, but really are you megadosing it? And reading the article as well brushing up on CME and BTPB homeostasis is always at work, but I really do not think the effect of Retain will cause a serious increase in cortisol after use. But I will tell you one thing you will know if you use to much, as too little cortisol causes joint issues, so be on the lookout for those symptoms, and as always follow AX directions on USE...

i have a bottle of retain as well as some other supps to take after a PP/SD cycle... did u say to start taking the retain 1 week prior to PCT and then start taking the other PCT supps

EDITED for REFERENCE

Although part of this article talks about effects of Cortisol rebounding, it deals with the psychological effects. Personally, I'd be more concerned if for some reason the prolonged suppression would trigger a rise in cortisol after completion of cycle, and subsuquently inhibiting the production of of GH and test levels creating an environment for increased estrogen and fat storage??? It's a viscous circle dammit :D

The rebound effect of cortisol and its receptors presents people who use anabolic steroids with several serious problems: (1) psychological addiction is more probable because they become dependent on the drugs. This is because they tend to lose strength and size rapidly when off steroids. To stave off deconditioning, athletes may want to take the drugs for long periods of time to prevent falling behind. (2) Long-term administration increases the chance of serious side-effects. (3) Cortisol suppresses the immune system. This makes steroid users more prone to diseases, such as cold and flu, during the period immediately following steroid administration.
