When to apply transaderm?

Directions say morning. However I take a shower at 8-9am and 5-6 p. Would it make sense to use it in morning and have it on for 8-9 hours, or at night and have it on for 15-16 hours?

I shower in the AM and put it on then..also shower in the PM after workout..
the gap for me is 10-12 hours..but i think 8-9 would be fine
