What a waste of an hour, u could have been posting...:wtf:

Man, and even then you're going to have to wait for ages to get your passport back. Their all kinds of backed up since they started the RFID non-sense. One of the worst IT logistics flub ups EVER.

Yeap. However, from what the news was saying, I was expecting to be there all day...

What news is this you speak of? Depends on the office probably. Sort of the like the department of public transportation. One office can be swamped, and one 5 miles away in a nicer part of town can be quiet.

Well, I can give a few options.

Would you liek to do a 5-day split?

Days on: 1, 2, 4
Days off: 3, 5
Repeat

Hmmm i might have trouble doing 5 w/school starting soon... 3 or 4 day split would be ideal for me, jsut so that i get all the workouts in adn don't start slacking and missing workouts.

IT Director Sir. Scary 6'4" 245 lbs geek. I took the advice of my first boss in HS when I was 15 and 6'4" Get big and mean looking and nobody will ever give you sheit at work and they'll only come to you for really important stuff!

Ah. So any questions ask SW LOL

Everybody thinks I am a puter geek since I am a "Interactive Media Designer", I belive that is what my degree says...

CNN. SHowing crazy lines and ish, and long delays for passports.

I guess Denver ain't so big afterall...

Damn so whats happenin, why the passports all backed up?

They started puting RFID tags in passports, and didn't check to see if they could manufacture / program the darned things fast enough. There's a shortage of RFID programmers, and adding the tags to the passport printing has been another major hurdle.

All so somebody can do a driveby on your passport and steal personal information from 10 feet away without ever touching your passport.

Because it is mandatory to reenter the country that everybody has a passport. Currently they suspended it by land or seq, but if you you are flying you need a passport, including the kids.

I already had mine since 2003, and the lil lady last year, so it was the kids this year.

Oh, that has more to do with the crazy immigration rule changes. EVERYONE now has to have a passport leaving or coming, and that means the people visiting over-seas or over-border relatives need passports. So if you're in a heavily international lived in area, it'll be bad.

Yeah, and I still don't understand why renewing is just as bad as getting a new one now.

So SW.

I am looking to set-up an IntraNet on our Windows 2003 server, but I think I need to assign an IP. I created the directory and all, but now have it inactive until I figure out how to assing the IP.

It always is.... When politicians start making technical decisions, you end up with some serious cheff's surprise. Whatever crap gets cooked up in the time allotted (normally immediately, and yesterday) and served forcefully, regardless of your preferences to the taste.

Yeah I guess on your location. Like I sais it wasn't bad. However, they appeared to be short-staffed.

Well that's EVERYWHERE. I'm not sure I've seen a retail store, or otherwise any place that's been fully staffed in years. The only time Wally-World, or Target is fully staffed is during Xmas/Thanksgiving or right before back to school. And even then there's like 25 people in every checkout line. So they still are 'understaffed'.

It used to be people waited on you to give them money, now everyone waits in line to give away their money. It's odd how the tables have turned.

Of course it's always 3x understaffed if it's union like the post office. Because only 1/3 of the people are actually working at any given time.

I thought you were going to workout like an hour ago? That's some hardcore procrastination :)
