Okay, I wanna try thinking outside the box ... something purely theoretical that I've never actually tried.

The ULTIMATE Pre-Workout Energy Shake (maybe):
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 small Sweetpotato, cooked & peeled
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 to 3 tbsp honey
- 1 cup ice
- 10 oz water
- Blend really well

Have the above shake with a Zone Perfect Bar (40/30/30)

I don't think the orange juice would be good in that shake. Put peanut butter in there instead and it would probably be really nice. PB + yams is one of my favorite things.

2 Tbsp Natural Peanut butter

1 banana
20oz Skim Milk (or 1%)
Splenda to taste

With a nutty butter crisp promax bar

Ya, the OJ would be too intense in there ... I was just trying to sweeten it up a little, but the honey should take care of that.

The fat from the PB would slow the shake down in the gut and make it even lower GI as well.

Sustained energy!

INGREDIENTS
Cookies (optional)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup instant chocolate drink mix
1 cup mini marshmallows
4 scoops (2 cups) Breyers® All Natural Chocolate Ice Cream

STEPS:
Place ice cream, milk and chocolate drink mix in blender container or food processor bowl. Cover and blend until smooth.
Pour into chilled glass mugs; top with mini marshmallows. Serve immediately with straws and, if desired, cookies.

My choice would be peanut butter chocolate MM and some chocolate chip cookie dough promax bars

black forest cake promax with strawberry milkshake muscle milk would be my alternative

I can't buy Promax bars by the box -- I end up having like three a day. I buy protein bars one bar at a time, even though it's more expensive that way....
 
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pure Protein Bar, washed down with a muscle milk cookies n creams RTD ~ no prep time and a feeling of eating pure cookie dough and a milk shake mmm :D .

HAHA I KNOW MAN!!! They were AT THE ARNOLD THIS YEAR AND I WAS EXCATLY A WEEK OUT WALKING BY THEIR BOOTH WAS A HARD TASK!!
AFTER MANY TRIPS I HAD TO ASK MY NUTRITIONIST IF I COULD HAVE SOME AND HE SAID I COULD CHOOSE 2 LITTLE PIECES AHHA!!!! I DONT REMEMBER WHAT I HAD BUT THEY WERE AMAZING!!! THIS YEAR THAT BOOTH BETTER BE BOLTTED TO THE GROUND CAUSE I AM GOING TO WALK AWAY WITH IT!!
