Whats your opinion on alpha yohimbine and/or yohimbine hcl?

Hey there guys,

I found this product that contains alpha yohimbine and yohimbine hcl. Each dosed at 5mg per capsule. I would like to hear your take on this.

What do you prefer and why? Alpha, hcl or combined? What dosage?

What are possible positives/negatives when combining the two?

If you are using Yohimbine for fat loss, it is best to take fasted since you need your blood sugar low for it to help with this. Yohimbine can cause anxiety and that dirty stim feeling. AY supposedly causes this side effect less but it also less potent with fat loss. Both help with appetite suppression too. If you have never had Yohimbine before 5mg might be a little much. I actually found some dirt cheap 2.5 mg hcl caps that I used for my last cut. I added one cap with my morning coffee. It added some more zing with my morning energy burst and helped me hold off on eating my breakfast for longer than normal. I felt it also extended how long I felt the energy. Don't count on it helping with fat loss unless you are in a calorie deficit. I for sure was in a calorie deficit and didn't really notice any extra fat loss. Then again, I was only taking 2.5 mg a day. But I did enjoy the appetite suppression and extra extended energy. I don't see any problem with AY and hcl combined. There are a lot of supplements that do this.

Yes Im planning on taking it for fat loss in a calorie deficit. I once took both of them dosed at 2mg in a pwo booster. Im a sucker for stims so I think I wont have a problem (hopefully). But Im planning on taking 200mg of L-Theanine with it to counter the "dirty" side of it a little

A lot of people love regular Yohimbine but some people cannot take it bc it gives them a variety of side effects.

Alpha Yohimbine for many people is like a cleaner version with less to no sides.

BUT a big problem that's been this way for years is that a lot of brands (knowingly or unknowingly bc of supply issues) use raw materials that claim to be Alpha Yohimbine but that have some regular Yohimbine in them. (Regular Yohimbine HCI is much cheaper).

I personally like Alpha Yohimbine if they are legit raws but regular Yohimbine makes me feel like I have the flu.

I will say that 5 mg. of Alpha Yohimbine imo is way too high of a dose if its legit Alpha Yohimbine. We offer it in 1.5 mg. capsules and a lot of people find 3 mg. of ours at once to be too strong. I couldn't imagine 5 mg. of legit Alpha Yohimbine for myself personally.

I personally love Alpha Yo. I have had better luck with it than the "traditional" cutting protocols (eca, clen). 3mg destroys my appetite, which is where it really counts when cutting down. 3mg Alpha Yo, about 250mg caffeine, and dandelion root is the way to go, at least for me.

Good info, I'm moving away from clen because I think it gives me muscle spasms. I get them almost daily at the end of cuts and I noticed one of the main common denominators is that clenbuterol is always in the mix at that time

We've offered Alpha Yohimbine for several years now and the feedback on it is really good and it sells very well for us.

I'm picking some of this up regardless in a few weeks I just want to know how everyone else is doing with it what doses people are using, stuff like that.

Going by what I'm reading for sns product it seems like start with 1.5 and bump up to 3.

Knowing myself il probably have to eventually try 4.5 how's everyone said five is too much and I'm going to need to know for myself LOL, cuz I'm stubborn like that.

Ive taken 5mg in a preworkout before, I seem to tolerate it well but it did cause slight jitters.

I like alpha yo in a ECY stack instead of normal yohimbine hcl. I notice my HR goes up about 10-20bpm depending on the day and workout. I use it fasted in the AM for cardio and then often a lifting workout as well. Definitely cosign the notion that it suppresses appetite for a long time after. Have to remind myself to eat with it sometimes. Reminiscent of some strong stims in that regard.

I prefer standard Yhcl, taken fasted pre cardio, dosed accordingly... personally, AlphaY did not sit well with me for some reason... I believe at 180lbs I was 12mgs with 200mg caf.

Just out of curiosity, was it SNS Alpha Yohimbine or a different brand?

The reason I'm asking is that there are some big time quality discrepancies between Alpha Yohimbine raws and I couldn't imagine taking more than 3 mg. of SNS Alpha Yohimbine.

Everyone is different in which they're going to prefer and I can't take regular Yohimbine but like Alpha Yohimbine; and that's why I say that its not so much as one being better than the other, its which is better for the individual.

Thanks. I can't speak for theirs, but I can't imagine taking that high a dose of our Alpha Yohimbine and don't know of anyone that ever has been able to. I do know of a couple of people here that thought they didn't like Alpha Yohimbine before trying ours and that love it though.

If you do ever decide to try SNS Alpha Yohimbine, I think and hope that you would really like it and may find it a different experience, but please please please don't start out at anything over 3 mg. haha.

^^^ That's the opposite of a sales pitch in that the more a person takes, the more bottles we sell so I'm not trying to talk ourselves out of selling more product, but I just couldn't imagine more than 3 mg. at one time haha.

We make an Alpha Yohimbine and a Yohimbine HCI product bc we know that some people love regular Yohimbine but some people can't take regular and/or prefer Alpha Yohimbine.

I can't take the HCI myself, but I definitely can't take the regular bark extract. But I love Alpha Yohimbine - great energy.
