What's the difference?

My gym has 2 types of dip stations, one being parallel bars, and the other at an angle; kind of like a triangle.
What muscle groups are hit with different grips? I usually use the widest setting, but ill sometimes feel a pain in my right lat which lasts a few seconds..also I try to keep myself as horizontal as possible; my upper body usually being parallel to the floor.

the angled bars are better as you can do the lift that fits your body. if memory serves me correct the distance between your hands should be the same as the tip of your fingers to your elbow. this way you are not too wide nor too narrow. the angled bars allows you to be at just the correct width.

Yea the angled bars are universal so short people and tall cud uses it and adjust themselves accordingly.. Don't go too wide out on the bar. It puts unnecessary stress on the shoulders
