Stalled! Need some advice please
Goal is to cut down to 15% bodyfat.
Currently stats:
Age 26
5ft8 / 173cm
154lb weight
21% bodyfat (mainly around midrift)

I want to lean up before I lean bulk and I currently train PPL 5x per week.

I measured my maintenance at 2200.

I use RENPHO scales to measure weight and bodyfat%.

These are my results from 1800kcal/day at 190 protein, 165 carbs and 50 fat:

Starting155lbs Starting Fat%: 22.1
25/3 155 22.1
26/3 155.6 21.8
27/3 154.4 21.5
28/3 155 21.7
29/3 155 21.7
30/3 154.8 21.6
31/3 153.8 21.4
1/4 153.7 21.6
2/4 154.5lbs 21.7
3/4 154.5 21.7
4/4 153.9 21.5
6/4. 153.1 21.3
8/4. 152.8 21.3
9/4 152.9 21.3
10/4 153.1 21.3
12/4 153 21.3
13/4 152.8 21.3
16/4 153.5 21.4
17/4 152.1 21.1
18/4 153.3 21.4
19/4 154.1 21.6

As you can see I am serious and consistent about tracking and strict with macros. I’m eating almost all good meat, fish, rice, vegetable and healthy fats.

I’d love some advice about where I may be going wrong as feel fat should be dropping quicker than that?

What do you reckon?

I'm 205lbs at about 20% and doing 1800 calories on keto (70/25/5) and losing 1.5-2lbs a week. Maybe cut more calories? Or change your macro breakdown up?

Id hire someone that knows what their doing if you have the budget. Otherwise learning your body takes time, and many times years upon years.

I would try cutting carbs to 100 grams or less and see what happens. Everyone’s individual but when I do 100 grams of carbs or less I lose fat all the time 100 percent of the time. If you’ve never tried low carb it’s worth a shot. It sucks just a warning. At least for me I fucking hate it but I got ripped that way. Just make sure you have a refeed once a week. I’d have one day a week where I took in 200-300 grams of carbs. Every other day would be 100 grams or less. Also what are you doing for cardio?

Cut carbs. Up proteins and fat

Op already said yes on a keto diet, but losing 1.5-2lbs a week so I don't see what should be done.

That's upwards of 100lb a year weight loss.

edit: but i don´t see a reason to lower even more calories... i´d increase NEAT instead

Use renaissance periodization and never have to think. Just eat. It’s cheaper than hiring someone, and is guaranteed to work if you follow it. Also nothing crazy like eat zero *insert bullshit ‘bad food’*

Darn I never replied or thanked everyone for their input. I got injured, stopped training. Gained a 1% or 2% bodyfat!

The past 5 weeks I’ve been training hard, eating 2kcals a day and burning 500cals through exercise. (5-600 deficit I’d say)

Waist measurement has gone down by 2 inches and i’m the same weight. Arms also increased slightly and generally look a bit leaner.

I guess this means I’m re-comping and should continue as I am?

Yes I think so, 100%. When I was the most shredded around 7-8% BF I was 5'9" and 176lbs but I was always very happy with my abs at any weight of 180lbs or less. So at 5'8" and 154lbs I'd be interested in seeing what you actually look like, and what your training actually looks like. You said you don't want to bulk yet, but it sounds to me like you definitely have room to grow even while leaning out and that this will set your metabolism on fire. at your age and size I don't think cutting calories is necessarily the solution yet.

it sounds like you're on the right path so far.
