What's missing in your Protein Supplement?!!

MPC LABS

What you guys think may be missing in protein powders nowadays? Higher dosage of BCAA's or Glutamine? Or are there other ingredients you all would add to your current protein supplement?

Nothing. Protein is already expensive and will continue to rise in price as cheese/dairy prices rise.

Adding things that realistically don't help that much or at all, see glutamine, seems like screwing over consumers.

I wouldn't want anything added to my protein. I like proteins that mix up thick like a shake. Otherwise it is not a protein shake but a protein drink. Just protein nothing extra.

The BIGGEST concern is how the whey (if u use whey) is Isolated. Many whey Isolates use heat during part of the extraction process which denatures the protein rendering is pretty useless. I use Myofusion SPECIFICALLY bc it says

MyoFusion Athlete's Edge Complete Protein Blend (Cross-Flow, Cold Infused Whey Protein Concentrate, Cross-Flow, Cold Infused, Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate, Egg Albumin, Milk Protein Isolate) MyoFusion Athlete's Edge Complete Protein Blend (Cross-Flow, Cold Infused Whey Protein Concentrate, Cross-Flow, Cold Infused, Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate, Egg Albumin, Milk Protein Isolate)

hope it helps. I get the majority of aminos for diet and Xtend

I'd love a well priced blend that let's you know how much of each type of protein your getting. Think trutein but affordable.

All great suggestions! I've always had people telling me there should be other ingredients (such as extra BCAA's and Glutamine added in), but I agree and always thought a protein product should contain just that...PROTEIN! Most of you suggest a specific ratio, or at least a supplement fact panel that includes what the ratio is.
When it comes to WHEY proteins that you could take multiple times a day like ON optmum Nutrition 100% whey, Myofusion, and Syntha-6...what ratios (I'm guessing of casein, whey, and Iso) would you all want to see?
@ stri8ted25- Gaspari has some great products, I've always been a fan of Myofusion as well, and on top of what kind of protein is used..it is very important how the protein is processed!
