What to add in a custom shake?

So I have this vicious commute, like 2 hours which led to me hitting a drive through. Now that I have gotten it together I have been eating an orange and one of those fiber+ bars. I thought instead of ordering protein bars I could just make some sort of shake that I could sip on the way home. I am sort of cutting but not strictly. What kinds of things should I add (besides whey)
