Even with no mix-ins to rave over the base alone in this pint provides a reason to pick up New Orleans most popular flavor. Right away if you are a cream cheese or cheesecake fan this will be worth a scoop. Think about eating the center of a NY Style cheesecake without the crust, and then you get a semi-sweet sugar aftertaste of a delicious vanilla flavored ice cream. Put two and two together and you are presented with NO Creole Cream Cheese. Cream Cheese in an ice cream base done to perfection. While I did not have high hopes before scooping this, Adrian the owner, proved me wrong and presented me with a choice I would recommend.

Cheesecrown = Cheesecake Ice Cream with a Cinnamon Sugar pastry pieces and fondant icing flakes
NO = Cream Cheese base + no mix-ins

Will be hard with the mix-ins and different base.. a better comparison will be the Gelato Fiasco Marscapone which is a primary cream cheese base, not a cheesecake base. If you ever had the Cheesecake base from Coldstone its very sweet

Both sound amazing, but I am very interested in finding out what that cream cheese base tastes like. I'd like to see it with some mix-ins though.

The reason NO did not put mix-ins is because Adrian (Their Owner) stated this was a new orleans special. If you know Down south and how they cook, there is a high butterfat content in the cream cheese base. that is why it is so dense and flavorful

The Gelato Fiasco flavor will be a better go for you then because it does offer mix-ins

which is more along the lines of a cream cheese base, its not 100% cream cheese but close being a mascarpone

Living in Texas now with a woman from Mississippi, so I know all about butter in cooking lol. That other flavor sounds heavenly, but I think the base mixed with a little graham cracker or even used to make an ice cream sandwich with ginger cookies would rock!

I swear everytime I have Graeters I get a bigger piece of chocolate than the last lol. I got a chunk of chocolate last night that literally spanned the diameter of the pint and was maybe half an inch wide (in Mint chip).

They should call it Mint Chocolate because even though there are small chocolate pieces (not really chips) throughout the pint, you get at least a 5-6 huge chunks

Don't need to get crazy with Graeters to get a good product or offering. Love those chocolate chips!

If you are looking for a very creamy, chocolate, and crunchy offering Talenti basically perfected it with Hazelnut Chocolate Chip. Massive amount's of chocolate chips in every single bite, a hazelnut base with a small chocolate/nutella aftertaste, and legit chunks of hazelnuts thrown into the mix. There is a lot going on in each and every bite throughout this offering. With the surreal amount of mix-ins this placed right near the top next to Sea Salt Caramel in my opinion. I was very pleased with this and have no doubts I would offer or suggest this to anyone out there.

Grade: A-

I would go with the Italian beef deluxe myself
 
try this...its an emerican style taquito

fat free cream cheese and either texas pete hot sauce or buffalo sauce and melt them together to make a creamy sauce
shred either grilled or rotissery chicken
dump the chicken into the sauce and mix it
throw everything into a tortilla, top the sauce with some shredded mazzarella cheese
wrap the tortilla and pin it shut with a couple tooth picks
spray it wil pam to make the tortilla crisp
cook in the oven at 450 degrees


and then theres pizza mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Overall if you are a Speculoos fan, this is a must pick up. Steve's offers a very unique coconut cream base that is very bold in flavor and dense in texture. The Egg, Dairy, and Vegan free option really made me skeptical at first, but I have no doubts this is my favorite Cookie Butter offering I have tried in ice cream form. The Cookies are in a larger abundance compared to Ben & Jerry's and the Trader Joe's version (small specs), and offer a nice ginger/cinnamon aftertaste. From start to finish I would not hesitate to re-scoop this pint in the future. If you have never tried Cookie butter, or the cookie butter cookies from Trader Joe's do yourself a favor and get your hands on some immediately.

I love cookie butter however my only current experience with that brand of ice cream was one of the WORST experiences ever. I NEVER throw away ice cream and I took one bite of Invalid Link Removed the burnt vanilla sugar flavor and could not eat anymore. I gave it to several others to try and they didn't like it either. Maybe I had a bad flavor?

I was just about to grab the blackberry crumble flavor by them about 20 minutes ago, but glad I passed until I hear more.
 
Never tried that flavor

Steve's Banana Pudding is incredible (one of the better banana's)
Salty caramel
Whoopie Pie i heard is epic
Mexican Chili Chocolate was good if you like spice
Sunday Morning was alright
Brklyn Blackout was meh.

Possibly my new favorite or close to my new favorite. It is hard to top the Reese Peanut Butter Oreo's, but these are solid.

You are given the generic chocolate oreo, but with a Brownie Batter Filling. Right out of the package the aroma is pure brownie batter before you even pick them up in your hand. It also reminded me of the fudge you may get topped on your sundae's or ice cream at ColdStone Creamery just off the smell alone.

The Brownie Batter filling is a mix between a dark chocolate, fudge, and brownie mixture that done very well. Loads of flavor, a chocolate lovers dreamthat provides a dense aftertaste. When eaten as a whole oreo the wafer may take away from the brownie batter filling and flavor, but overall this is a major upgrade from previous limitied edition flavors like Red Velvet and Cookie Dough.

If you are a coffee lover, and want a nice twist on cookies and cream look no further. Chocolate Shoppe offers a fantastic lighter blonde roast in ice cream form. Combine the milkiness of the base with a rich flavoring and you have an incredible combination for a kickass coffee base. The Oreo Mix-ins are as expected from Chocolate Shoppe. Dense in texture, nice crunchy taste, and provide tasty compliment to the espresso base. Since this may not be found in many grocery stores you will probably have to order offline to grab this one, but it is worth every single penny. I would have to rank this my favorite coffee ice cream shortly behind Jeni's Black Cat Espresso and Cafe Au Lait & Beignets from New Orleans Ice Cream Company.
