I used to live off microwable meat pies when I was 10 years old lol. Grew up and learned about healthy eating so no more...
 
So Dunkin Donut Review:

Chips Ahoy! Crunch Donut.
Tastes like a regular chocolate fried cake with crushed up chips ahoy cookies. The cookie pieces are not very crunchy, more on the softer side (like they are fresh baked out of the oven) but compliment the chocolate frosting well.

The Donut is pretty soft, not very doughy like a mom and pop place would make them. A bit better than Krispy Kreme (basically frosted and very light airy sugar donut) but has more texture, density and flavor.

If i had to rank donuts (just off my first one from DD) i would say DD > Krispy Kreme, but does not beat a small mom and pop place that makes the real deal.

Cream Filled Chips Ahoy Crunch tomorrow.

I've actually freezed a couple of the premium donuts mkretz bought me from Buffalo because there was no way I was going to eat half a dozen big ones within a day or two right after eating ~2.5lbs of burgers & poutine lol. Tasted 95% the same as fresh out of the box :)

I have a few special containers and bags that are air tight sealed (with a device) and they stay 100% Fresh just like you bought them
always got be prepared :)

Nice review. I was surprised when I first tried Krispy Kreme I honestly don't like them made me feel sick. Pretty over rated doughnuts. I like doughnut king better which would probably be similar to Dunkin doughnuts there

I haven had a Krispy Kreme since they first came to came to Canada over a decade ago. I wasn't too impressed, very sweet and I like sweet but there's a limit & they were lardy tasting.

National Donut day is great, especially when you have a groupon, that gets you 2 dozen gourmet donuts for $5. 12 for my work peeps, and 12 for me, can't wait

Anybody wanna throw me an idea for my cheat? It's going to be post workout (my regular meal will be 10 salmon nigiri)

That's a possibility. There's this joint in a city 30min away that has a donut bar. I may hit that up since its national donut day tomorrow lol

Some DD are better than Krispy Kreme, but some of The KK are better. Just depends on which ones you get. Krispy Kreme glazed is better than dunkins

I buy stuff all the time
Co-Worker owed me because i helped him out with something technology related (helped him fix his laptop)
Buddy picked up bill @ Dinner, I train with him in the morning and helped me through his contest prep, so he treated.

But honestly the waitress covered the nacho's so between both of us it was only 28$ for the entree's + Ice cream burrito which was not bad at all. I paid the tip (10$)
 
22oz of amazingness. With a big ass shrimp to boot.

Man I had a hell of a cheat 5 days ago but the national doughnut day has me craving them... I'm recomping on 3600 cals a day (loosely counting. About 100+- every day). It's leg day so I'm debating doing a stupid high volume day with some added cardio and picking up some doughnuts and a pint and then use my free sandwich at work (which Wich) as my cheat meal and have straight protein(powder and some fresh swai/rump roast) to hit my 240g protein. Why do you guys make me crave so many things:/ lol

I think its definitely worth the cheat. You can get some really unique milkshakes (ex. maple bacon donut, with or without a liquor kicker) there as well to supplement the burgers.

What you get depends totally on you. They offer a variety of meats to get you started (bison, elk, tofu, kobe, etc) and then a myriad of toppings, rubs, dusts, sauces, cheeses, and even buns/breads. I suggest fully customizing your own but there's a few good options on the menu if you're lazy.

I liked bison, with cracked pepper rub, habanero cheese, sriracha, mushrooms, fresh jalapenos, caramelized onions, on a ciabatta bun. (As best I can remember ha).

Custom custom custom.

I've had all the paties, save for the chicken and crab, and they're all good. I tend to go with the regular burger or bison, then eat the rest of my girlfriend's vegan burger(which is freakin delicious) haha.

Truffled shallot aioli is a must. Their brioche buns are great but fall apart under large burgers unfortunately.
 
Had my cheat meal after an EPIC leg training session. Had 3 slices of homemade pizza, part of a deli sandwich from Walmart (removed a lot of the bread. Was mostly salami and ham), 2 scoops of USP labs modern protein made into sludge, 6 Dunkin doughnuts, and a pint of tonight dough. Also, took 2 of the doughnuts and changed my life with this creation pictured last...
2 crunch chips ahoy doughnuts with a layer of the tonight dough in the middle!

LOVE me some Bison and Kobe, both would prob be my choice and i love spice like you

Hell yes to the sweet potato fries for sure. Make sure you get fries tho not the chips (I think that's what it usually comes with and they're just meh)

Depending which buffalo things you get some ate spicier than others. I always try to go with the hottest thing possible so it's usually not a buffalo, more like a fresh jalap or habanero.
 
If you're part of any of the IIFYM groups on Facebook, you have probably seen the same thing I have. Nothing but pictures of donuts stating, "YOLO, it's National Donut Day!" But then when it is someone's birthday, they ask, "Will this be okay for a cheat meal?" or something similar. Blows my mind that some people will celebrate a made up day, but need the approval of random people via social media to celebrate a birthday, wedding, anniversary, etc.
