What is your favorite cheat meal?

I usually prefer to pick up my burritos, but that one was ****ing huge, over 10 inches long, so I planned on utensils anyway. And that cheese sauce was ****ing awesome.

Y'all making me hungry been stuck on hospital food all day and boy do they skimp on the portions.

Maybe Hitting Mexican, Indian, or Breakfast food in Columbus this weekend, or a burger....
Decisions..

Going to Greaters Scoop Shop and Jeni's
No question abotu that :)

I think I'm gonna make some meatball subs for my cheat this Saturday. Make everything from scratch and no...will not be using turkey meat, but the real, freakin' deal and that's beef.

Tell me about it. I was in the hospital for 38 days. I made good with the nurses though so I got extra food! And the food at my hospital was REALLY good!

Army hospital, so I'm screwed on the food dept. But I'm being released this morning so back to man sized meals.

Salmon, tilapia, chicken breast, pizza, flatbreads, turkey burgers, wraps, cheeseburgers, taramisu, lemon mergine pie, and so many other good things. At least for hospital food lol. And thanks man, everything is good now.

The Solution I thought you'd be happy to hear that Trader Joes now has Cookie Butter ice cream. I haven't tried it though.

As you dig down the quart (which I separated into two pints) you start to notice that the pieces and bits of cookie butter continue to amplify in size and flavor as they are denser. Sooner or later they turn into smaller globs instead of specs and resemble a true swirl which starts to amplify the cookie butter taste and balance between the strong vanilla base. For an ice cream trader joes did a good job on trying to implement the cookie butter to a great vanilla base

. What I would really love is if they plan to make a cocoa cookie swirl in the future into ice cream like they have the nut butter that would be epic! For this to get an A maybe some chunks of a Speculoos cookie bar chunked up or a stronger cookie butter taste/ratio

Thesolution: looks great man! Just curious, do all of your homemade desserts always have protein in it or do you actually make regular desserts/sweets?
Your cheat meals are on Wed and Saturday?

Digging down the pint the caramel base shines, but what really shines is how dense and rich the caramel swirl is. The Sea Salted Caramel Swirl is exactly what separates this pint from the rest of the caramel's out there. Just when i thought 2nd street Kopper Kettle Caramel was divine when it came to the swirl and base Steve's Surpasses it. If Steve's had the truffles like 2nd street did, this could be easily my #1 Caramel based ice cream. Literally the swirl turns into a fresh glaze as you dig down the pint and is melt in your mouth. Its not hard at all it is actually very soft like the middle of a sea salted caramel truffle or biting into a snickers/milky way bar. The overall approach to the sea salted caramelized swirl is so rich that is compliments the base perfectly. As you can see in my last picture the swirl is no joke, it gets to the point where it is globs of caramel instead of a small swirl like you see in the first picture from lifting the lid. If you are a Caramel Fan, look no further. for a simple base and swirl this is off the charts.

Homemade gnocci are the bomb. Great source of lean carbs. Cheap to make. Delicious. 11/10. You like pesto bob? That's my favorite for pasta. Pesto + parmesan or reggianito or butter + parmesan. I like me some hard cheeses.

Overall the blizzard is great, do I consider it their best seasonal or flavor of the month? Sadly no as the S'mores is going to be very hard to trump, but this is up there without a doubt. What is lackluster is the basic vanilla soft serve base which is a mediocre vanilla, but the amount of mix-ins from the Apple Pie Filling (which is very generous), the great tasting cinnamon pie pieces which reminded me of eating cinnamon toast crunch, and a great blend of cinnamon and whip cream to top off the blizzard make it a nice treat. Apple Pie fans do not hesitate to grab this, it is worth a shot, and its not very caloric dense either. A full medium does not even eclipse 800 calories. Do I consider this better than Talenti Apple Pie? They are pretty similar in grade due to Talenti's base being stronger, but the mix-ins in this blizzard are superior with every single bite.
