What is your favorite cheat meal?

Planning an epic cheat day with my GF on April 1st after we've both been on a pretty strict diet for the past 12 weeks.

Breakfast will be two muffins from a local bakery. Their cinnamon muffins make my heart melt.

Lunch will be a large pepperoni pizza from a local pizza joint. Best pizza I've ever had in my life and has turned me into a pizza snob.

Dinner will be Ruby Tuesday's fried chicken and ribs platter.

Very excited.

Recipe

Dry:
70g Complete Pancake Mix
34g Red Velvet Protein Powder
tsp Baking Powder
3g Splenda
8g SF/FF Pudding Mix

Wet:
1 Egg
25g Greek Yogurt
Water to batter consistency

Frosting:

50g Regular Yogurt
20g Cream Cheese
3g Splenda

Directions

In a small bowl combine all dry (Pancake Mix , Whey, Baking Powder, Splenda, and SF/FF Pudding Mix)

Crack in egg white, add yogurt, and use enough water to make a batter like consistency.

Pre-Heat Oven to 350 Degrees

Spray Baking Dish with cooking spray

Transfer Mixture to a pyrex dish or a small soufflé container and bake for 25-30 Minutes until it comes out clean with a toothpick (Toothpick Test)

Scrape the edge with a fork to make sure it is firm and ready to flip out of Container and onto a plate (middle should be a bit soft/gooey) this will harden up as it cools.

Assemble Frosting (Yogurt + Cream Cheese + Splenda)

Cut a small circular hole out of the center and apply frosting (It should start glazing the outside of the finished product) and enjoy!

I thought it was good. The core was very dense and had a nice touch of saltiness to it
The little brownie blondies were like flakes

The PB Fudge is sick! its a peanut butter / fudge core
PB and Chocolate Ice Cream
little mini reese cups thrown in

Just found Talenti Fudge Brownie and Caramel Apple Pie.

Oooooooo I've had fudge brownie but never saw apple pie! Sounds promising!!

I'll grab the pb one next time, I just didn't like the caramel one. For salted caramel I'll go with 2nd street!

Yes Sir Copper Kettle Caramel

the Apple Pie from talenti people are comparing the base to Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns with a mix of Apple/Caramel in it Which sounds promising.

It's that time of year :)

Jameson stew, one with lamb one pork
Home baked Irish Soda Bread & butter
Mashed potatoes
Guinness cake and Guinness fudge brownies
Guinness pot roast
My favourite; family recipe Coddle.

And Guinness, naturally.

As great as the food is I think the best part is seeing my entire family fall-down drunk lol

Who says Moderation cant hurt?
You can easily get ripped and enjoy some ice cream
Total kcals.

Once every two weeks I have an all out food fest from dinner to bedtime and have whatever I want and as much as I want. The other 13 days my diet and training are tight as hell. I've never been leaner, I feel good, and I know I'm never more than 13 days away from whatever it might be I get a craving for. Also keeps my metabolism going strong. I do retain a crap ton of water after the cheat day but it falls off totally in 2-3 days max.

I never used to do this and would go months between cheats and then theyd last for days. I'm happy to have learned this bit about successful diet management from you Bob!! Its helped me achieve a new level in my physique that just hadn't been possible with how I was doing things before.

Good point, the mental/psychological benefits of knowing a cheat meal is on the horizon are great. Just think of the cheat as a kind if reward for your hard work and it can help keep you sane.

After St. Pat's massive cheat meal I'm on a similar schedule now, doubling the time between cheat meals and on the now skipped cheat day I will carb cycle (double my carbs, drop fats, maintain calories) for that day.

Im not a fan of a cheat day, thats more of a disaster than one single meal
People who go a whole day eating junk it not only sets them back a few days sometimes a week because of the surplus it causes, one meal, get it over with, and move on

No harm no foul.

it's more of a 3-4 hour window actually, cheat day was a misnomer

Irish people live in Canada???

Wut???

:)

Better beer ;)

Jk lol you haven't been to Nova Scotia before obviously, half the population is celtic for sure. They have an accent there compared to the rest of Canada due to that.

WHAT!??? how fast were you going?

The solution, i finally watched some of your vids today. I made the corfetti protein cake except i used selects choco flavor and didnt put the pudding mix in(didnt have none but i was heckbent on making it right then). Anyway tasted pretty good i guess. It was a little tough like, i had a tough time cutting with my fork. Could i have overcooked some or missing the puddingmix causes it? Or is that how they all are? Just a little tough?

Ticket was put down to 40 over. Which is what I told my parents after as well but neglected to remind them that you use mph down there.

I was a bit of a speed demon, and auto club member that met after hours regularly for less than legal racing activities.

In the past now, as is the Charger :(

Was 2 pts. Away from my licence being taken
