What is your favorite cheat meal?

Last night I had the cheat meal of the century, 1.5 liters of vodka, 2 kilograms of pork shishkabob, kabob style grilled eggplants, tomatoes, and peppers (chile and bell), clove of garlic, and a full brick of bread.... Truthfully I over ate like a pig. Lol the taxi driver had to assist me in getting out of the car.

I'm leaving the healthy world and I will be back on Tuesday. So far My inventory for the next two days of consumption include

4 bottles of wine (bosses wife gave them to me)
Case of Molsons
Case of bass
Home made baked beans
Pork steaks
Potato salad
Greens
Potatoes in many forms
Koegel hot dogs cause there's nothing better
And I'm going grocery shopping in a few minutes so we will see what else we can snag.

Had a few slices of pizza on Saturday and a slice of bday cake for my uncles birthday so no Sunday, end of the week pancakes for me but still a good cheat meal in a sense... Until next Sunday folks!

My wife bought the white chocolate version. Tasted like chemicals. Better luck with the dark I hope!

White chocolate tastes awful to me. Now that you mention it I always felt it had a weird chemical taste. It's not even really chocolate , all sugar. The dark chocolate PB tastes ok , mild on the chocolate part and alot less sweet then Nutella or other hazelnut spreads that's first ingredient is sugar.

I'm sorry bro, ate enough for you and me at my graduation party.

Cool. Eating 1 meal is not optimal.. pretty much what it sounds like your doing. (From the post above and if im wrong sorry, but if you eat till you feel sick and fast 20 hours) then yeah you may be a little SOL on spacing out meals)

About 0 research to back its very effective for overall muscle protein synthesis and seeing your on your younger years, 3+ meals is shown as effective for overall MPS (muscle protein synthesis) and optimization of protein.

While IF is great and something i utilize as well (even if my window stretches to 9 hours due to work schedule) you should still make the most of it as martin does outline on the webpage. I could link you to Layne/Alan and their stance on IF as well and how MPS would decrease on less meals and larger intakes spread so close to each other (say 4 hours and 2 meals) you dont give the body long enough to allow itself to reset to protein refractory stages/levels to be spiked again for optimal amount of protein synthesis.

Sure you "Can eat a lot in 1 meal" and you seem to do it often, but is it really optimal for physique and MPS? not so much. ANyone can meet their kcals in specific ways, but most people negate proper macro nutrients and MICRO nutrients (first and foremost) not pointing fingers just talking about the majority of individuals in this world. While like you i can eat the world (as you have seen) we sometimes have to realize what is "optimal" and what needs to be limited.

Id rather see you make more progress in and out of the gym than eat a massive amount of food.

"s for the other end of the spectrum (2-3 meals per day), this is obviously more realistic for regular people. This works out well, since the importance of muscle retention during dieting varies according to the population. The more overfat & deconditioned someone is, the greater the proportional & net loss of fat vs. muscle is when dieting. Further along the progression, the leaner & more conditioned someone is, the more muscle they stand to lose as they continue to diet. So, can low meal frequency work for competitors? Yes, it can. Is it optimal? Well, that’s a question that so far doesn’t have a definitive, science-based answer, and it might never have one. For advanced athletes in a dieting situation, the objective is to retain as much muscle as possible while losing fat, since muscle loss at this point is a more urgent threat than it is for guys coming straight off the couch. Nitpicking for advanced athletes, I‘d speculate that anything below 3 meals (technically, 3 protein feedings) per day is not optimal, regardless of program phase."

Layne:

" I think intermittant fasting has helped a lot of people with a diet they can stick to, however I also see many people use it as an excuse to binge, and that is never healthy. One of the other problems with it is my PhD thesis research demonstrated that if you eat low protein throughout the day, you cannot make up for that lack of anabolic stimulus earlier in the day by eating a huge protein meal later in the day because their is an 'anabolic cap' to each meal, so to stimulate muscle protein synthesis maximally it's wise to consume multiple (probably 4-5) meals rich in high quality protein. You want to make sure you are getting enough protein to hit around 3-4g of leucine at a meal to ensure that you are maxing out anabolism, that is typically around 30-45g of protein for most sources. But as far as meal frequency and it's impact on fat loss, it does not seem to matter, and if anything eating too frequently actually impedes fat loss. I believe however, that you could get many of the benefits, if not all of the benefits of intermittent fasting by simply intermittently eating carbs but still having multiple protein meals as eating protein with low/no carb would still maintain elevated insulin sensitivity. Read it and my quote

jealous of everyone having parties, working 10 hour days the next 2 days and just got done working one.

Had to get on the comp to see which post you were talking about. Ya I read that one. I try to eat 4-5 meals a day. Diet consistancy is key. I've been straying a bit through. Wish I was your neighbor man, I'd pay you to cook all these meals lol cooking at a restaurant the last thing I want to do is come home and get in the kitchen sometimes.

Come to the east coast bro! ill hit those calories for you daily, with ease!

Haha I'd grow like a fkkn weed

FYI weed isn't that easy to grow. Unless its bunk weed, but nobody wants to be a bunk weed. Lol

Anyone been to in n out burger? What's the best thing on the menu?

I go double double animal style. Its a double cheeseburger with pickles, grilled onions, extra sauce. I got it protein style(no buns, wrapped in lettuce) last time since I was going low carb

Any fast food meal with high protein levels

Have them make it your way Noxchi ch1o! More meat less bread. Better yet why eat fast food when you can eat lamb kabob and other delicious Kavkaz food.

Russian , I'm living in europe , sad .

Sad indeed. I'm less then 300 kilometers away from Grozny myself. I love our beautiful mountains, fresh air, pure water, and organic produce and meat. No food is ever a cheat food here in the mountains of Kavkaz. I don't know about Europe though I haven't dined much outside of Russian Federation, Middle East and Central Asia, as well as USA. All I can say is whenever you go out for fast food, go out for Gyros or Shaurma... In my opinion these are the lightest most natural, and protein full fast foods out here.

Speaking of cheat food.

I heard most of European food taste like garbage besides the Italian, Balkan, Spanish, and Greek food.

Never been to In and Out Crew checking in. Living on east coast = 0 In n Outs.
Not a fan of fast food burger places anyways (even though im a manager at one)
Much rather make my own, 100x cheaper and easy.

It's getting hot in Florida so I've been eating some of this after being outside/at the beach for awhile. 100 cals per half cup, natural ingredients, cultures, and tastes good and refreshing.

I cheated so hard this weekend that my diet completely broke up with me. I'm a whore and it felt great. Can't even go into the list right now but I did end Sunday and monday with a quart of ice cream each. Sunday was Ben n Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough and Monday was my favorite Hagen Daz chocolate chocolate chip.

those are pints. a quart would be 2 of those

Oops , I musta been dreaming of more ice cream. I could easily kill two of those pints resulting in almost a whole days calorie intake.

Lol :) been there done that. And often too!!

I. Love. Ice Cream!!

I could easily eat 2.5lbs of peanut butter at one sitting

Holy mother of God. Wtf happens to you in the bathroom afterwards? If I ate 2.5 lbs of chunky peanut butter I'd be ****ting bricks in 2 hours.

Choc Chip Cookie dough? Son you need to get some 2nd street cookie dough. Blows it away :)

if i ate a jar of PB , wait i did on the day of my show. Felt great and did not even go to the bathroom. Until the next day when i had 3 sweet potatoes and 3 steaks, then my cheat meal after the show
2 sleeves of rice cakes
6 doughnuts
6 cupcakes

etc... lol
