What is your favorite cheat meal?

Solution just killed it. Countdown timer to next cheat meal: engage.

Again you did not read
To cheat the entire day is YOUR fault because you control what you eat,
who said one bad meal wont hurt you. no one.

No one forces you to eat cake, cookies and junk all day long , that is personally your decisoin to do so, not anyone else's fault but yourself and your actions.

One meal = Fine
A whole day or a binge = Your problem and responsibility.

The Solution doesn't sugar coat it! Unless its with cinnamon on sweet potato fries. Lol ;)

Well, my husband and I have been going to nice places for our cheat meal. Some fancy and some rated very well. We haven't found one single place here in Anchorage that we have liked, they all suck. So we have decided that we're going to eat greasy delicious fast food from Dairy Queen. Burgers, fries and their desserts, mmmmmmm..... Can't wait for tomorrow!

I'm sure by now most have tried some variation of the peanut butter burger, getting pretty common to see in restaurants here now. Enjoyed it last time I had it and wanted to make my own tonight. Grilled up my burger and found my PB empty (fiancé loves her PB/hazelnut coffee smoothies) so I grabbed the next best thing, Nutella. Not sure if it's only because that was my first cheat meal (been trying out keto) in almost 2 weeks but it was pretty damn good.

Giving it a trial run to see if it's effective for me, took about a week to shave off carbs bit by bit, down under 30/day now. No strength or energy loss yet. Not minding the dietary changes, the increase in fats has helped with muscle soreness if anything

I read through some of those. I don't know what to believe sometimes anymore...
But reason #4 saying paleo is expensive is a lame reason for not doing it. Expense is relative to priority. For example, I but cheap clothes but expensive food. Many people think I'm backwards. And I might be :)
I just don't know anymore???
Like fasting vs eating breakfast: some say cortisol is highest in the morning so avoid insulin spikes at that time. Some say eat frequently, some say doesn't matter. Some say carbs at night only, some say post training.
It's funny to me how science can't get a definitive answer on this stuff

Science is always changing.

Get your cortisol levels tested, they are highest in the morning its common knowledge (for someone who gets blood done regularly such as myself).

Eating how many meals per day is a PERSONAL PREFERENCE, the key factor is macros/calories and MICRONUTRIENTS.

If you eat frequently as layne has showed 4-6 hours apart to allow protein levels to reach refractory stages before being spiked again.

Carbs at night has plenty of benefits and i have linked them in here before. I notice and feel them thats why i do that often. Sleep like a ROCK since eating more at night due to seretonin levels.

Jsut do what WORKS FOR YOU

Jsut do what WORKS FOR YOU

This is the key if something works great for you, then great. Just because a paper is published doesn't mean it's the end all be all. Studies are flawed, fudged, and as soon as the day is over out dated. We still know so very little about how the human body works, even though science would lead us to believe other wise.

I do a lot of things that go against the grain, but I feel great most all of the time and am healthier then anyone I know.

Oh and paleo is stupid ancient man ate what ever he could get his Harry little hands on, to say he only ate certain foods is ridiculous. Also how do we know they were healthier because of it ?

My wife bought the white chocolate version. Tasted like chemicals. Better luck with the dark I hope!

That's a disappointment! White chocolate pb should taste amazing

Is cortisol a problem if you have already been fasted 20+ hours in the morning? This was a one day thing, had to cut my time period earlier the day before and woke up starving.

Why the hell are you fasting for 20 hours if your young and a teenager, just f'in eat dude.. for real.
yeah the longer you fast cortisol keeps rising, it peaks in the morning.
