What is the verdict on ecdysterone and turkesterone?

Thanks much man, that means a lot. A real lot.

I still get emails almost daily from people saying the same. It was a great show, we helped a lot of people (and I learned a lot too). When I'm gone, those shows will still be out there, hopefully helping new guys just getting into the sport/field.
 
Carl decided to focus on GunLeash, a great idea so that you don't lose/mis-place your firearm. He doesn't do anything halfway, so decided to go all in on it. I'm not sure if he still owns the name/shows etc,. There's a show on virtually everything related to strength training, health, anti-aging etc. They're all out there today, and we have him to thank for it.

He still lifts, still lives the lifestyle and contributed a LOT to our sport. His legacy will be the great information he brought forth, and more importantly - shared freely with the world.

A great man, and Alisa too. She did so much work behind the scenes that people never saw. I consider myself privileged to have worked with both of them.

@Mixelflick is there anything in Mass Pro Synthagen X2 that fights cold/flu symptoms? On 3 separate occasions I have noticed a decrease in severity of symptoms and a decreased number of days sick when I take 15 caps.

The honest answer is: I'm not sure.

However, there is evidence that Ecdysterone rather dramatically improved recovery time and mortality rates, seen during COVID-19 infection. This data comes from The Lancet, and concerns BioPhytis's BIO-101 aka 20-hydroxyecdytserone. As you're probably aware, the Rhaponticum we use in Synthagen contains 20-H and many, many other beneficial ecdysterones.

Efficacy of oral 20-hydroxyecdysone (BIO101), a MAS receptor activator, in adults with severe COVID-19 (COVA): a randomized, placebo-controlled, phase 2/3 trial​


In particular, there was a whopping 44% reduction in mortality, and patients getting it recovered from illness faster. This mirrors the original use of "Ecdysten" in former Soviet medicine BTW, which was prescribed for recovery from illness/infection. In 1961 Rhaponticum carthamoides liquid extract (1:1) was officially recognized and included in Soviet Pharmacopeia as a natural remedy for overcoming fatigue, improving physical and mental productivity performance, and for shortening recovery time after illness.

BOTTOM LINE: I'm not a betting man but if I were - I'd bet you're right :)
