What is the optimal DHT level for a healthy libido/sexual functioning?

Posted this in nutrition forum as well, but seems I havent had much luck with responses there in the past, so I am posting here as well.

Talking about DHT levels, not test. What would be optimum level for a healthy libido/sexual functioning? Am 33 yo male.

Really depends on the person, one person could utilize their DHT level a lot better despite lower plasma concentrations....others may not notice effects until > 300 ng/dl (extreme case).

The problem with boosting your DHT very high though is that it will have an inverse effect on E2. There needs be a specific balance between DHT & E2 for libido and functioning. With extremely high DHT, it's possible (and likely) that libido/functioning could plummet.

Yes, that's also true...well, mainly libido...that's the one to go first if you 'obliterate' E2 levels...however, there are ways as I've stated to work around this...albeit expensive though.

I think it's also the adrenaline increase associated with DHT.

Abstract
We studied the effects of gonadol steroid implants on catecholamine levels in the brain of ovariectomized female toadfish (Opsanus tau L.). Control values for dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (EPI) in the brain were 2181 +/- 226, 1112 +/- 80 and 6.5 +/- 2.02 ng/g, respectively. Compared to controls, 17 beta-estradiol decreased brain levels of DA to 547 +/- 261, and dihydrotestosterone decreased DA to 444 +/- 290 ng/g (P less than 0.001). Furthermore, dihydrotestosterone increased brain levels of EPI to 15.0 +/- 4.7 ng/g. The steroids had no effect on brain levels of NE. These results suggest a role for both androgens and estrogens in regulating brain levels of DA and EPI in toadfish.
