prob, the directions says dont take with food. The tabs are enteric coated.

the coating has a high ph over 7 so the tabs are not broken down in the stomach and destroyed by acid, they pass through to the small intestine will optimal absorbtion takes place. It improves the bioavail. of the ingredients.

Interesting, i guess that does make sense then. The high acidity probably is what made me sick.

No its the high ph of the tab hitting the acidic environment of the stomach, when you eat the ph of your stomach just goes down even futher (more acidic).
