What is better for glute injections?

To hit the medius or maximus? I looked on spotinjections.com and it seems like they are injecting real low. I also seen some posts that say to inject into the medius for less pain?? Anyone have a good picture of exactly where to inject? Where whould you inject on this image: Invalid Link Removed
 
I always just go w/the rule Upper and outer. On that image it would be the in the part of the glute w/the red shaded over it.
