What Have I Done ???

my situation was getting worse I was dealing with more testicle/penis/scrotum shrinkage so I set up a consult with a testosterone pellet doctor. I went to him today he seemed very knowledgeable and etc. well he agreed my t level was on the low normal side. He said I could either do test shots or testosterone pellets. I agree to try the IM test shot . he gave me a shot at his office but the dosage was 400mg.

what damage have I done, Im scared dont know what to expect this nightmare is getting worse everyday.
 
With one shot, most likely no damage at all. But from what I understand, normal TRT dose is about 100mg/week. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Uhhhhhh, that's an anabolic enhancement dose. TRT is usually 100-200 mg every five to seven days.
 
Well you can expect bigger and better erections. You can expect to be hornier. More energy and better feeling of well being. All good. You can also expect your own natural test levels to be lower. Don't worry 400mg of test won't hurt you. The big boys take several times that amount.

Obvious you really do not know how things work in the hrt world.
400 mgs is going to spike his e2 really high. Since he already has pre existing conditions already it could make them worse. The effect if the shot may last 1-2 weeks then it will taper downs since it has not reached plasma levels yet. Right now you just have to ride it out unfortunately. I'd be more concern with thyroid or adrenals then anything as they are already out of balanced to begin with. Giving trt in this case would be wrong thing to do because I ve been looking at the pathology of the issue first before slamming drugs by an incompetent dr in the first place who was out to take your money becauE pellets are not covered by insurances and have to be applied every 3 months at 500-600 a pop. So you might as well bend over and ask ur dr how far my friend.
 
matrix yea I asked him about the pellet and insurance he was like nah its not covered. then I asked him about clomid he knew about it but didnt suggest it. same with clomid.

but on a sidenote my testicles are still shrinking they where about small grape size now(pre existing shrinkage) they are about size of small walnut size. this **** is bugging me out. its like I dont even have a scrotum anymore

is there anyway I can try to bring back nut size naturally. its one thing to have your penis shrink its another to have your family jewels as well.

Once the best clears then your body will return yo homostatsis.
No sense of adding more fuel to the fire for now. Just ride it out for time being or it will make matters worse

Yes E2 will increase but so will test. His T/E ratio will be much improved. If
E2 is a concern it can easily and inexpensively be controlled with a good AI or even DIM.

Addin an AI in this scenerio is not advised and just let it run its course then get back down to base starting with a Good HRT dr not some uneducated dr he went to already.

I prefer to see less drug reducing he variable you have to content with in the first place.
 
is it possible to get back to my prior health. is this reversible. I see alot of people deal with this problem and most do not get vitality and function back. the shrinkage is happening on a daily basis.

Anything is possible if u let the body rebalance itself by feeding it the proper nutrient, sound mind and good lifestyles. Every system is different, but from taking one 400 mgs shot give it 4 weeks body will return to baseline in 99% of the cases

What have you done to try and deal with your hypogonadism? Do you have blood work done? Age???

My question are what caused it and how to potentially deal with it at the source since low T is a symptom of the cause in many cases.

Good point. Something as simple as low thyroid can cause high cholesterol and low testosterone.
 
local doctor referred me to a Houston Diagnostic clinic my appointment is this Friday. hope this leads me to recovery.

I just got the callback from the houston clinic , my testosterone level is 1490 and she said my free test is 410 she didnt give me ranges, so its apparent the 400mg test shot from doctor is to blame.

my testicles seem like they are shrinking more as well. does this mean my lh/fsh is completely shut down now.

No. It means that your testosterone levels are temporaily high due to a single injection.

what about the fact that my testicles/scrotum seem to be shrinking on a daily basis, and feel extremely soft is this due to the t shot and will it normalize once levels go down.

That's hard to say since in your original post you said this was occuring even before the shot. You are going to have to get more bloodwork 4 to 8 weeks after this shot to see where your hormones really are. Sounds like your e2 was too high before you got the shot.

It's going to be near impossible to predict your outcome or tell you how to get help without knowing your hormone levels (test, estrogen and thyroid just for starters).

Trying to evaluate anything with out data is like putting a blind behind a wheel of a moving car ..a diaster waiting to happen
 
Pffff man I have a similar situation to you. We seem to have reacted the same n00b way in the past. One year ago when my symptoms became unbearable I did the same stupid **** of going to some private doctor and got a T shot. The thing is that I think it was a high dose!! ****. It only worsened me, now I see it clear :( I will post all my results and history in a thread later. Right now im incredibly depressed but I guess there is a way out... even if my testicles were completely screwed I could go on TRT for life.
