What do your meals look-like?

Here is a typical day for me:

8 am: 1 egg, 1/2 cup egg whites, shake: 1/2-1 cup of oats(depending on carb intake for the day), 1/2 cup strawberries, 2 cups skim milk, 1 scoop whey.

11 am
P-workout snack: natty PB and jelly on wheat, or the above shake w/ 1 cup chocolate milk.

1pm
lunch: can of tuna w/ 1 cup brown rice, or baked potato (idaho or sweet, whatever is handy)

230pm
Apple on way to work

4pm
pre dinner snack, usually a cup of oats with skim, or a hand full of nuts with a banana.

530pm
Can of tuna over salad w evoo, or walnut oil, balsamic vinegar,
various leafy greens, seeds, eggs, chick peas, legumes, cheese, ect.

830pm
protein shake, or handful of nuts and an apple

1130pm
apple

1230am
lowfat cottage cheese w/ protein, flax seed, strawberries.

When I'm off, I typically have some type of lean meat or fish besides tuna for dinner, e.g. baked chicked, talapia, salman, or some type of pasta. I take in about 3000 cals, spilt 40/40/20 to the best of my ability, and cheat once a week on saturdays, typically eating pizza or chinese, and a bowl of ice cream or some type of candy. If belly fat becomes a problem, I cut carbs by replacing the fruit w/ veggies, and cut out the starches.

for dinner tonight we had coho salmon grilled on an alder plank, moose steak also grilled , some pasta, a salad and a good cab.

Hell, just to switch it up, im baking a huge turkey breast (on the bone) in the over as i speak. Just rubbed it down with some oil....coated it with tons of spices and lettin' her roast good. Ill slice it up and make sandwiches, or just eat it plain with veggies through the week.

Im so tired of chicken. Can someone please explain to me how restaurants make their chicken sooooo tender.....mine always seem to have just a little bit of toughness to it.

I guess i need to try the brine solution thing....i dunno

Man that turkey sounds good!I prefer turkey to chicken as well.Especially cold.Much better texture and not as dry.I say cold cause I take food to work with me and eat it cold.

yea bro....i baked that turkey for an hour and half....took it out...let it cool and then sliced the breast up. You wouldn't believe how much pure, clean turkey breast I got off that one bird. I was a ton. I took some and even froze it for future. The butterball brand turkey i got cost $7. Enough to last all week...easily. Stupid deli sliced turkey...what a fraud they have going. Do you own, seriously
