What do you guys think of two a days?

Damn, Id struggle with one 45min bout of cardio, I gotta split that up too lol

I could maybe manage it if I were able to do it at a gym, but Im on that poverty time cardio...HIIT hill sprints. Fifteen mins of that sh1t is enough at one time for me.

Yea thats definitely a different ball game. On my current cut ive done no hiit. Low to moderate intensity for more time has been working. Soon as i want to reduce time spent or turn it up another notch i will be adding in hiit. Currently at 45am, 20-45 midday depending on intensity. Weights at night.

i wouldent workout more than 4 times A WEEK heavy. not if you want to gain good muscle mass IMO

I've been working out 6x a week heavy and it's really taken a toll on my joints so I'm taking it back a little and got some supplements to help a little I'm going to stick to cardio in the morning and lift in the afternoon

EMPIREMIND I just started a fasted cardio program today, I'm up earlier and just toughing it out and hitting the weights at my normal time. Roughly how long would you recommend doing the cardio for, and how soon can I eat for it to still have the lasting benefits? I'll be running with my dog every morning, and I got through a little over 2 miles in hardly over 20 minutes today. I don't want to end up running 4 miles in order to hit 40 mins, so I'm kinda in a dilemma lol. Any advice is appreciated.

How much if any cardio did you do before this? The key is consistency, so 20 mins every morn will be good for now. Increase it by ten to fifteen mins every time weight loss stalls. As far as waiting to eat i think it really depends on supplements. Other than that i dont see a reason not to eat. Something like yohimbine you should prob wait around an hour even more, but if not taking something that depends on you being fasted just eat whenever makes sense.

Yip, I much prefer doing two 45min resistance sessions (am-pm) than one 90min session. Only wish Id tried it years ago, but was mind-jobbed by all the mags that perpetuated the BS myth of overtraining.

Yes! This is about what I do. A.m. I hit 3-8 rep compound lifts, wait 6-8 hours, then isolation moves 12-15 reps.

I'd do 3-4 sessions per week on the Stairmaster or something. I'm not supplementing with anything for fat loss right now, I've read that Yohimbine is pretty useless for fat loss if there is any insulin in your blood at the time of ingestion. My breakfast is usually around 750 cals, but it's not dense food. I'm still pretty hungry after I eat (16oz egg whites, 2-4oz ground sausage or 2 cups spinach, 1/4 cup shredded cheese), so something must be working even if it is just being in a deficit that's making me even hungrier after I eat. I'm only trying to drop around 10lbs, so hopefully I won't need to bump my time up too much and start creeping towards the endurance realm of training. My feet and shins were a little beat drop yesterday's run so I just did a 50 minute walk with the dog this morning. Same distance, just didn't want to potentially injure myself.

I wouldnt bother with any fat loss stuff for now. Just drink a black coffee and take 2g L tyrosine if you want. 30 mins cardio and then eat, high fats and high protein and low to no carbs is perfect. Do that everday and you will see significant progress brother.

Sweet. So black coffee before the cardio or after? I take GCBE before my first meal, it's helped with appetite suppression a bit. I'll stick with the coffee and cardio + deficit for now. I'm seeing a little progress already, a TAD more vascular and abdominal definition. Excited to see where I can take myself during this cut.
