What do people like to read in their free time?

At home im currently reading the grishaverse series by Leigh Bardugo and on my way to and from places like work and the gym I listen to audio books and podcasts. What do people like to read? Articles blogs other forums books etc
 
I like to listen to Dr. Doug McGuff and Drew Baye's youtube videos/seminars.
For general reading, I like to read the Very Short Introduction series books which have a range of topics. You can get a general idea of each topic here:

I also love Warhammer 40K lore, so I like to listen to Lutein or ArchWarhammer on Youtube.

Finally, just for laughs, I like to listen to Game Grumps. They're hilarious!
 
For me it's general health/well being/nutrition/supplement/exercise.

I'm working really hard on my spanish so I often listen to coffee break espanol pod cast when driving. At the gym I only listen to hard rock until I do my cardio, then I work on Duolingo while walking on the treadmill at incline.

on vacation I read Invalid Link Removed (Steven Rinella), great book and I love his hunting/fishing podcast too.
I also just read a book on the birth of Seattle Grunge Rock I picked up at Sub Pop records recently
and I am rereading 1984.

Aside from that I really like classics. Hemmingway, Fitzgerald, etc.

i like to read Invalid Link Removed they have articles about how to start your own business and stuff which i find quite interesting personally, i don't know if you'd be interested as it's mainly business related things but i thought i'd share anyway
 
I enjoy real Mafia documentaries and books from the real cosa Nostra and earlier when it was real mob.

Boating,camping,sex,and offshore fishing
 
i honestly don't read .. but it is something i want to start doing it.

I bought Kobe - mamba mentality and elon musk book ..gonna start doing it once i move into my new place end of next month and will have some time.
 
I used to be a pretty voracious reader.

Lately, it is mostly online articles and "papers". Many focused on AAS, Bodybuilding, and health.
 
I read anything Stephen King puts out, and would gladly read another novel by George RR Martin, if he would ever finish the next one.

And my bible! Gotta read the Word to get fed!

Steven Pressfield for some great non fiction reads

Malcolm Gladwell has been enjoyable for his genre as well
 
Chrichton was great, if you haven't read Pirate Latitudes, definitely check it out. Short novel and afaik his only pirate themed story, but very good.

War memoirs are what I prefer to read. Read a chapter or two every weekday evening and more on the weekend. All periods. Been at it for decades now. Could write a book presenting the top 100,200....,memoirs. Of course, nobody reads NF books anymore. It is all porn, and podcasts, and such. The Horror.

My Mom was a librarian for 38 years, I not sure she would like the world as it is today.
