Well. Do you take it with activated B's or high dose methylfolate like I am? Or just as a stand alone ? I found signs of increased heart rate on reddit - several user reports (one which had it on prescription) so I'll keep testing.. I think it messes with dopamine and I can get overmethylation signs sometimes by too much methylfolate (which spikes serotonin and dopamine, but I do boost with other methyl donors too such as tmg..maybe sulbuthiamine it gets too much. I'll try take with magnesium glycine and niacin. Or I probably need to take this a few hours after my activated b's. Needs more testing. I found out people generally recommend taking with magnesium to counteract this problem with sub
Interesting. I have taken it with methyl B's but not high dose just what's in my multi. Sulbutamine also low dose. Never felt those symptoms. I also haven't taken my BP or HR during so it really could be jacking me up without my knowledge.
I have recently switched to L-Carnitine & Alpha GPC pouches ((Like a Zyn) which supposedly have higher buccal absorption than oral) which help with work focus and energy.
Strangely enough, methylfolate - when taking midday, has a stiumilating effect on me too. It makes me complete kinda like if GABA would cross the BBB (which it doesnt). Ephedrine is good too I guess (30mg).. Some people mention yohimbine but I never felt much on it. I think you gain tolerence after first time use. Ephedrine works for everyday use (and is felt) but not yohimbine.
I’ve used gaba since 2003. Did it everyday for years. Currently in competition prep and Hana levels are probably low from eq
I dose 3-5 mgs in between the next to last and last meal and get that heavier breathing and seems to help sleep
Mine is from 2017 when I bought it and still works fine
May be a short term thing but so are many drugs and supplements
Yohimbine was the worst on a glp. Cold chills, spitting up, goosebumps. In competition prep though so feeling bad most days at a certain time is expected
