Welcome To Anabolic Minds! Introduction Thread!

Hello!

I'm TJ, from Brazil, 33 years old. I've been into weights for around three years now. I'm a diabetic type 1. Was over 100 kgs and 30% body fat when I first started and now around 93 kgs and 20 BF with a lot of mass.

At first I did the HCG 1234 diet and my insulin basal levels dropped from 32 to 17 during the diet. I dropped to 79 kgs, but lost a lot of lean mass also due to the fact it didn't have real HCG in the formula. Been trough some light cycles now and looking to find tips on how to reach around 85-88 kgs without losing too much mass. My insulin basal is now 27.9 (insulin pump)

Would be great to maybe find tips from other T1Ds also. Having a hard time dropping more BF... I usually maintain a very low carb diet already to control my blood sugars, but that doesn't seem to change anything or drop my BF too much. The only thing that has worked was calorie deficit ...

Good to be a part of such a big and great community. I'm sure it will be a lot of help. :-)

Thanks for the invite. Ive made a miraculous transformation in the last 16 months and will continue on my journey. Looking forward to sharing some info with everybody. Thank you and have a good day.

Welcome Brian, this is a place of miraculous transformations. My own included, although I'm only 3 months back in. I'm sure everyone would appreciate to hear your story, please share!

New to the site. Looking to learn as much as possible. Once lost 100lbs and gained a lot of it back due to an extremely stressful situation in my life done with all that ready to get back in shape for myself and my family. Ready to get shredded.

Best of luck Gainz, this is the best place to get the knowledge and motivation to achieve your goals! If muscle preservation is important to you during your recomp I would suggest you look into HMB. I also had a lot of success with TTA, CLA and Ursolic Acid during my recomp. Really liked the PumpSpray which I used in combination with Ursobolic.

Best of luck to you!

Welcome everyone! We have an amazing family here! ?

Greetings! I'm fairly new here in terms of contribution, but have been a lurker for some time. I enjoy this forum compared to other forums on other sites pertaining to the same topic. I find this forum to be well-balanced and neither too conservative nor too liberal in terms of advice and application.

I'm a 40 year-old man with decades of heavy weight-training under my belt. I have always led a healthy and active lifestyle. I'm a former D1 college football player and still play full contact football in a sanctioned men's league. Recently, however, I began feeling more drained, lethargic, mentally foggy and unmotivated. I had comprehensive blood work done and my T levels were in the gutter! I was shocked because I had assumed all this time that I had high T because of my strength and muscle mass. I'm 6'3" and 260 lbs. I won't go into how much I can lift blah blah, but I will tell you I push heavy ass weight! Anyway, my doc put me on 200mg of test cyp dosed at 100mg twice per week and now I feel ****ing amazing! I'm not experiencing an anabolic effect, but I feel great and that is as valuable as gold at my age! I look forward to learning, contributing, networking and even arguing haha

Hello! My names Matt. But I go by copper. I have been into fitness for along time and have even competed twice once in a power meet and the other was a physique comp. looking to join a forum of assume dedicated member!

Hey everyone. I'm new here and looking to read about how to get in shape and lift big. Looks like a lot of motivated people are here.

Hey everyone brand new to this. My names Noel and I've been lifting for close to 7 years and I'm finally entering my first amateur bodybuilding show. I played football my entire life and lifting was always a blast for me, but molding the physique is even more interesting to me. I'm 28 now and I really want to try my hardest now. This app is amazing with so many like minded people in one place.

Cheers, fellow GAINsters!

Nearly 25, male, 5' 11" 170lbs right now. I have been lifting for 8 months and have learned a lot from my local peers, but I had to turn to the internet for some help and information when I started my first PH cycle. I'm on Day 3 of a 4-andro + epi-andro cycle, which is going well so far.

I'm a IT professional by trade, but I have solid basic chemistry knowledge due to other hobbies. Here, I hope to help where I can but learn a lot more in the process. Whether it is a tip for form, or assessment of a new compound or supplement, I want to gain the knowledge. I'm still starting out, so don't flame me too bad if I sound like an idiot. Just correct me. I'll get it, I promise.

Welcome saywutrly! You should really be noticing the benefits on week 3 to 4. You got me curious, what hobbies resulted in your chemistry background?

That sounds good as I plan to run the cycle for the maximum 8 weeks. I will be posting another thread as I do have some questions about it and want to make sure that my support supps and so forth are solid to continue as I am. As for the chemistry, I can share if you would want to hear. It is very irrelevant to bodybuilding and not very healthy. That said, I wasn't a Heisenberg-style character, but I digress. Thank you a bunch for the welcome!!

No judgement here man, better living through chemistry, its why I became a chemist.

Fair enough. I appreciate the attitude of the community. I'm fascinated by any type of brain/thought modification - the ol' "research chemical" scene, but I prefer to be more methodical about it rather than your typical user of such compounds--researching so well that I had a typically-accurate prediction of the effects, being able to recommend certain compounds for folks who wanted certain things or had certain problems, all while ensuring that harm was reduced by refusing compounds with unwanted attributes (sketchy moieties, receptor activation, etc). Structure-activity relationships, differences in effect by way of body chemistry, receptor activation, and the like are all very fascinating to me. I would love to go to a university for organic chem, but I don't know that my bank account will ever agree with that idea.

I feel you, school debt sucks, if your determined enough you can teach yourself. It always stuck better with me when I practiced application based learning. I have also experimented with a host of Nootropics and other research chemicals. My conclusion; nothing on the research market compares with the safety (not that it is safe but safer) and efficacy of amphetamine as a cognitive enhancer. Even then it is a fine line. If you end up liking it too much it ultimately becomes detrimental to your cognitive abilities. That was my issue so I had to call my doctor and tell him to cut me off. But thats a discussion for a PM or another thread. Welcome to the Club man

Yeah, I thought that this might be moving too far away form the topic. Feel free to PM me if you feel it. New friends with like minds are always fun and dangerous in a great way haha.

Hey all,
I'm James and I'm 57 years old. I've been on Test replacement therapy for almost two years.
Started lifting at 50 and the timing wasn't right. Test was going down rapidly and results in the gym were lackluster at best.
Quit the gym 3 years ago due to lack of interest. Since starting on Test I've been telling myself I'll get back to the gym but... haven't made it yet.
Hoping to get inspiration and guidance here.

We are all here to support you, sir! There are many folks on here much more capable in the guidance department, but I am all in on support!! Be sure to check out some existing threads as well. That is where I've learned the most, even before signing up for the forum. Welcome, brother!

Welcome. Hopefully your trt regimen is nailed down and has you feeling better. If so, I believe your well-being, energy, and results from a widely chosen diet and exercise routine would lead to much more success in the gym than last time. There are many on here who could help with all areas. Feel free to join threads, start threads, and pm people for help.

Hello everyone.
Im here trying to get the best and safest info i can get for my first cycle. Ive done tons of research and have seen so many contradictive things, im not sure what to do really. I would really like to find the most legit and safest suppliers of everything i need. Ive been working out off and on beginning in highschool and gor the last year been hitting it hard.. Never really tried eating right until now and i can see big differences. Im just impatient, and ready to go now now now. Gonna be doing 500mg of test e a week and maybe abol with it for the first four. Thinking of arimidex during the whole cycle but also have read just to keep it on hand incase i need it and clomid/nolva for pct. I would greatly appreciate any help i can get and the best safest info. Im forty years old and ready to blow up safely as possible.
