Weightlifting and height (IT'S NOT THE USUAL THREAD)

We all know that weightlifting doesn't stunt height, but some say that doing it you'll grow less. According to them when you lift weights, you "tear" the muscles so the growth hormone goes to repair them = less height growth

What do you think? Are the muscles really repaired by growth hormone or what?

Steroids will stunt bone growth if taken before the age of 21. Other than this, nothing to worry about!! Your friends have been misled.

But what do you think about this?

But what do you think about this?
Many hormones are responsible for tissue repair. Why do you ask? Simply working out will not effect your height whatsoever.

I ask this because I'm a teen and I lift :D

I've done some research, as you said there are a lot of factor involved in tissue rapair, so the gh "wasted" can affect height at most by few millimetres

I started lifting at 17 and grew to 6'. Good thing the Internet wasn't around then or I may only be 5'5" today.
