I take the weekly cals into account if I slack one day and make up for it the next day when Im bulking lol. I have a weird sleep schedule sometimes also. So if I am up till 6 AM and get up at noon.. I might consider the meal I had at 5 AM to count for the next day. IMO it is all about long term calorie trends you can be off by a 100-200 cals per day (even more sometimes) as long as your weekly is on target.
