To start off with, let me say now-a-day's country is bull. It's not real. Its tight Wrangler wearing jeans, pretty boys that sing about Rebel Flag t-shirts and dippin' and drinkin' beer. If Waylon was alive OMGZ he would ****in' flip. At least Willie Nelson is alive and still smoking strong lol.
This came to me cuz some country station (my bro was listening to) said something about Jamie Johnson, which is one of the few country singers now-a-days that sounds like and Older country singer. They said he was weird, and he was kinda like Waylon Jennings. So all-in-all this country station said Waylon was weird pretty much. I just wanna say that REAL country is about pot smoking, women lovin', whiskey drinking, prison ridden type people. Like David Allan Coe for instance, he was REAL country, he sung about prison and bangin' girls, no edited bull****, straight explicit stuff. The **** now is so fake i can't stand to listen to it. Everyone of em' sound like they grew up in Louisiana. It's like "why u tryin' so hard to speak like your backwoods trash?"
I just hate that the "country era" now makes country people look like white trash dummys.
For instance. David Allan Coe, listen to this dudes interviews. He's like the Jim Morrison of country. Johnny Cash, well, i dont even have to speak for him.....he was a ****ING genius.
I dont know, my rant is over, it just pisses me off to see what "Country" has become.
