You weren't banned from there yet?

Weather here has been abnormally warm. I wish it was cooler since I'm hunting, but I'll enjoy it when i get back home. Everyone in FL forgets that January and early February are our coldest. They act like winter is over, yet it's just beginning.

Still funny anyway:

Weather in Ohio is weird as well. It was 20 degrees F last week with snow. This week we are setting records with 60's and rain!

They know they liked it...

...I wanna here the ole boy next door singing Custer! lol

What is your low in Jan / Feb on an average day

I dunno. Usually we'll have 2-5 freezes, and fluctuate 40-60°. It never gets crazy cold but I don't keep a lot of 30-40 clothes.

Indeed... been making homemade pizza every xmas even for 6-7 years now. Everyone loves it... Made an extra one this year as my daughter invited her friend over that wasnt having much of a family xmas this year - so we wanted to include her.

Then, 8pm Xmas Day, I am prepping the desserts... the yule log has this wonderful plastic wrap on it to keep it fresh (pure sarcasm). So I grab a knife to cut the wrap off in a quick fashion, as I do someone asks me something, I turn my head and next thing i know my hand is covered in blood... right through 2 fingers... Spent the next 5 hours in emerge and now they look like this:

Canadians...

Dang man. I'm really sorry to hear this for you. Hope the recovery is speedy - don't push it and focus on whatever you can do, like running, lower body, and doing upper work with bands in your palm instead of db/bb perhaps.

So sorry Simon. I know that feeling, I filleted my toe open last Christmas. Good news is it will heal. You can still work the left hand so just go light on the left side for the next couple weeks. Did you slice through any ligaments/tendons or was it all just meat? Heal up man!
Those pizzas and turkey look awesome!!

Damn man! Those fingers look brutal buddy!

Sorry to hear about the accident. Get better soon!

Oooooouuuuuuuccccccchhhhhhhh! So sorry for you! Heal up fast Simon!!

Thanks man.. I was thinking over the next couple of days just going for a run and seeing what even an increased heart rate does.. Figure i can do legs, and i could even bench light with a loose/false grip?

I remember that! It was just through the meat, and somehow the nail on the index finger is split in two...there's no damage... Thanks brother

Funny thing is it really never hurt. The freezing into my knuckle on my thumb hurt more than anything.. just throbs like sob

Happy New Year all. Hope everyone had a great and safe night.

Had the stitches out yesterday. And will resume lifting Monday. Dr just said to watch it and ease off on the grip a little, as he felt my thumb was a little premature in the removal but should be fine. I feel like I have cabin fever! lol

You can still get out for a run brother! Focus on all the things you can do! The rest will come before you know it

Wow, that's quick on the stitches. Sounds like the healing is going quick!

Ouch!! Don't imagine anyone will be talking to you with a knife in your hand anymore! Glad it's healing so quick!

Ouch!!!! Glad it's getting better! Food looks super delicious!

Everything heals faster in Canada because of the amount of baby seals they eat.

Hope for a speedy recovery homie!

Baby seals and moose milk... Super healing foods!!

Keeping them bandaged with antibiotic cream, the body is amazing.. as they are sealing right up!
