Wanna get my fitness rolling!

Hey guys! I'm a 17 year old trying to get to be the strongest version of myself. Not necessarily body builder level but a bigger, stronger, leaner me. I have been doing some really basic stuff already and gotten results slower than I want, so I was wondering if you guys could recommend any free programs to stick to for a beginner like me. If you want any more info bout my condition or whatever just ask.

What have ya done so far? Is it working? Play any school sports?

Look at...5/3/1, DeFranco's WSB4SB, Juggernaut, few more I'm sure other members may suggest.

5/3/1 is a great program. I've been running it for awhile. I'd suggest buying the book on kindle or whatever you have, there are great explanation of the basics of the program, good instructions for beginners on how to perform the basic lifts, and good detailed options for running the program. Much more information in the book than you will find on the internet.

5/3/1 is great, especially for intermediate lifters. If you're a beginner you may want to take advantage of linear progression while you can and look into Starting Strength. Another great intermediate/advanced program is Tactical Barbell.

What the others have said and...
Understand that gaining is a slow gradual process and rushing it, usually finds the trainee(s) looking for some magic routine that does not exist or ends up having them changing routines way too many times to see good solid results on any of them.
Most any routine based on the big 5-7 compound movements a few times a week, coupled with eating good amounts of good solid natural foods will have anyone gaining the most. It is just that simple.
It does however, take some hard work and regular consistence effort on those compound moves.
