Waking up painfully hungry

So I've built myself up to a pretty solid bulk if I way say so, not out of this world but it's solid. I got a new job position last month and so I now wake up at 5am, get home at 6:30pm and lift at 8pm. I have quite a bit of time in my work truck reviewing plans and doing math so I having a bunch of time to slam all my pre made meals. Everything was going great till last week. I eat after my workout, usually chicken breast but lately it's been venison, take my shower and then slam a casein protein shake and go to bed. I wake up and I'm so painfully hungry I'm nauseous. Like so nauseous I feel sick to my stomach. It goes away after my second meal usually. So help me out guys, what do I need to change so I don't wake up so friggin miserable?

I was waiting up the same way, most of the time I wouldnt make it until morning. I started making a Pro Gainer "ON" shake and would drink it before bed. If I was already full I'd make it and set it in the frig. I wait up off and on during the night, so when i did I'd go a head and walk to the frig and down it. Took care of it for me.

what are your first two meals looking like?.. and if your bulking why not eat some carbs and fat before bed?
at a minimum add some healthy fats to your shake.. even if its a handful of fish oil pills.

My last "meal" of the day would be ON Pro Gainer shake. I mix up about 3/4 a serving and eat two servings of tuna with it. First meal of the day is at 5:30am, it's two big croissant rolls that I'll butter and then put ham and an egg on each one along with a thick slab of pepper jack cheese. Meal two is between 8:00am-9:30am depending on how quick I can get the pipe laying crews set up and running and I'll eat a couple chicken salad sandwiches on oat nut bread (just 35-40g protein between the two sandwiches).

I had a similar problem. I would be so nauseous I would actually throw up yellow liquid, stomach acid I guess. What worked for me was eating more vegetables throughout the day. I was only eating like one cup at the time per day. And a person of my size needs at least 4 cups of fruits and vegetables. The reason this worked for me was because my problem was that my GI tract was so acidic and fruits and vegetables are very alkaline. I used to eat almost only protein and carbs, very acidic. Now with lots more fruits and vegetables throughout my day I never wake up feeling like that again. Also, try a small meal before bed; like cereal. That worked for me too with different circumstances.

add moar fat to last meal.. sounds like its pretty low in fat as is.

Now that you mention it my back is starting to get pretty bad but it's all real tiny acne that doesn't hurt and that started around the time I started hammering down those shakes religiously. I'll add in more veggies and try some sausage, potato's and green beans before bed tonight.

The carb make up of those shakes really suck, they are absolutely awful for your skin; especially if you are taking more than 1 a day. Try to eat more food instead of the additional shake and you'll see your skin clean up :).

I forgot to mention I do not have a gallbladder so I avoid fats and oils like the plague. Weight gainers produce the most noxious gas you will ever smell so trust me when I say I stick to my one a day and I only do it cause I really feel as though I'm making some strength gains from it.

I second this ,, add some peanutbutter to your shake , whats a little gas to stop you from gains?? Lol no but try some carbs like ricecakes before bed with your shake and if you are conserned with the acidic thing another member mentioned then try adding some bicarbonate of soda to your shake

So I've tried your suggestions for a number of days now and veggies before bed cured it right away. Thanks for the help. I eat a whole can of sweet peas now. Are canned sweet peas the best bodybuilding choice? Nah, but they are delicious lol.
