tendonitis, arthritis, joint pain?

i was 1st prescribed this around 7 years ago for bone on bone knee pain by ortho doctor. i've since had total knee replacement but still use it for elbow, wrist and pain in the other knee that sometimes hurts after long runs.

it's now otc and can be found at walmart, cvs, walgreens even krogers for around $12. i highly recommend.

I have a prescription version and I wish it did more. I guess it’s hit or miss with these.

as far as i know there is no prescription version any longer..what i buy at walmart otc is identical to what i used to be prescribed.

what area do you use it on?

I didn't feel nothing with that gel.
I always use ice, is the only way to stop the inflammation ( in my case)
where did you apply it?

it's not going to work on shoulders or lower back...it's made for areas i listed in 1st post-it also says this on box/label.

I need surgery on my right knee ( an easy arthroscopy) ,only if I want to play basketball again, but I can walk, play basketball sometimes (softly) and I'm not skipping my legs day so I'm good haha.

I been using voltaren since 2010 before my basketball games (the placebo effect is strong).

Nothing helps me, just don't play anymore, no more problems.

that sucks. i had to quit running completely before getting knee replacement...i missed it very much, running was my way to get away from life's problems for awhile--i am very grateful to be able to run again.

hopefully you will be able to play bball full strength again!!!!!

I feel you buddy.
Basketball was everything for me, my life.
I moved to another city, I lost my friends so my motivation is 0, I used to play with them.

Real life, one day you have 20 and then 34 and the sports that you love, are really aggressive for your joints... not worth it at all.

Thank you!

So true. Even the little things now hurt my joints and I think ahead about certain things. I now pose the question of will this activity make me sore or potentially injure me versus I use to not even hesitate. :ROFLMAO:

I can't thank you enough for recommending this a year or so ago to me. I used it for a week straight but then decided to only use it for the really bad days or days where I have to stand or walk extra like game day coaching days or hikes. I use it for my arthritis in my ankle and it's a lifesaver.

I have had a few co workers use it to as they never heard of it and they all loved it. One in the foot area, in the finger joint and one in the wrist area. They all noticed improvement.
