Virus infections

Anyone have any suggestions for speeding up beating a virus infection? I've been sick for over a week now. Haven't worked out in a week. My wife developed bronchitis and went on a antibiotic, but it didn't help. I did my best to stay away from her, but I still got infected. I can't shake this thing.

I feel for you bro! I used to get about 3 sinus infections a year that would always develop into bronchitis. Luckily I'm down to about one a year now, but the last one was a doosey. I got a z-pac from the doc, and that cleared up most of the infection, at least to where I felt better. It still took me about 7 weeks to totally get rid of the cough, tho. In the past, I've had to run more than one course of antibiotics to clear it up, so you may want to go back to your doc and try something different. Some antibiotics work better than others for certain infections, so maybe the one you tried wasn't the best one. And if it's viral bronchitis, antibiotics aren't gonna do much other than help prevent a secondary infection. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks.

I been pumping lots of vitamin C and Zinc.

I tried working out last night. Boy was my strength and endurance zapped. I should have figured I wasn't going to be able to jump back into the usual routine.
