not a bad day, incline went up. Flat felt much stronger than last time... much less help from spotter. Decided to do DB's with the decline instead because i didn't wanna use the smith again, felt little chest work last time.
Just an average workout, nothing special. I had a splitting headache throughout the whole time there. Expecting my gains to slow down and reverse sooner or later because the beginning of the cut. Symmetry coming in thursday... gonna get on track with diet and cardio before going into cutting cycles.

not a bad day... i donno i feel lack of energy this week... feel tired. Been doing too much studying and homework everynight, lots of stress. Eating less... cardio... bleh. I sometimes fee awkward doing things like BBrows because i don't know if im doing it right where it will focus on my back... same goes with most other lat working exercises... we'll see if im at all sore tomorrow.

Good day, and a bad day... IN ONE! Yeah so my DB presses keep going up but my military press goes down. Similar thing with tris... very annoying... it seems like first set of 60's on db press was easy like i could do 7 reps... got the 65's up on my own this time for 2, then on 3-4 big time help from spotter, then the 60 again for 3??? man I get so tired so easily lately! I don't even wanna talk about my military press, I was so tired after db presses that it was too much, and it felt awkward. tris seem to be getting weaker... i guess this is what i get for starting to cut :) ... looking a little leaner on the midsection, otherwise not much has changed about BF%. I got a pro IFBB telling me to do maxOT cardio then I got derek charlebois telling me low intensity cardio... i can't make up my mind... i'll probly go with the low intensity because it's not so painful, while every minute i do max OT cardio i feel like im dying.

If you feel like overtraining is lurking then MaxOT will arrive much quicker. Be aware that Most IFBB pros are not on a normal supplement regimen and Derek is a supplement wiz and a natural athlete.

very true... I'm not sure if im heading into overtraining... i've always done much higher volume than I am. Maybe i'll lower the sets or something, couldn't hurt. One thing i'm wondering is why my biceps are sore after leg day... or it could be chest day. It's been happening ever since the split changed at week 3. I'll start doing cardio for 30 mins now after workouts. Could be my sleep... most nights lately since school has gone into full throttle i've been getting 6-7 hours of sleep :blink: ... I usually would get 8 minimum.

This is my rough draft for cutting cycle...

Stack 1: Albuterol, Powerfull, cAMP, green tea
Stack 2: Stim-x, retain, symmetry, anagen
Stack 3: Albuterol, retain... maybe something else.
 
hmm planning out doses and such.

I have 1 bottle of cAMP... what should i dose? When? I was thinking either 4 at 2 morning 2 night, or 5 with 1, 2, 2. What you recommend? I want the bottle to last me around a month. I might buy another bottle once i need more protein so i can stack that with my stack 2. Might even run it throughout the whole cycle if i like it. It reduces cortisol right? Would stacking ti with retain be overkill?

Will be adding Albuterol next monday for 20 days til the end of the cAMP bottle and Will continue to run retain for another month following that. Definition is up, looking a little leaner. If im in the right lighting and i crunch and push fat forward i can see top 4 abs outlined. Taking before pictures tonight...

Thanks for the compliment ceosm! Imagine me 50-55 pounds lighter with a gut and that was me a year ago. I've come a long way. Had a guy come up to me at the gym today and say... "wow man i remember when you first started coming here a year ago, you were so scrawny NOW LOOK AT YOU!" was cool. Well tomorrow is legs! more then.
 
Well i chose 30 mins of walking after weightlifting sessions. Would split them up but I don't have the time right now... When it's nicer out i think that won't be a problem. Also i get a lot of cardio in at school... i walk around 2-4 miles most days there. Then weekends i work... I'm the jack of all trades supervisor at a 4 star restaurant in MA and this requires me to be here, then there, move that there, help them over there... etc you get the gist.

Diet. This is where im the least educated, im working on it as best I can. Im 190 lbs currently... Trying to take in 2000+ calories... 2000 minimum on a light day. I like to eat so this is killing me. I slowly reduced it from 5000 at max bulking to 4000 then 3000 now this week it's been around 2350+.

Still altering things but here's what i had going on today.

Im eating right around maintenance i believe because i ate similar to this last week with no cardio and weight stayed constant all week. Now moving down I was 189-190 this morning, but that might be because of the weekend... hard to get everything in then but I usually do it.
 
At 190lbs and ~16% BF, you should only need about 2300 calories a day to cut. Sounds like you got that down. For me, a 40/40/20 (P/C/F) ratio seems to be working well, but I plan to start carb cycling as soon as I can see my lower abs. (whenever that is!:D). I highly recommend either hiring Bobo to help you along w/the process (he'll show you the right way the first time, well worth the investment), and checking out 'Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle', an ebook by natural bodybuilder Tom Venuto.

It seems like the more you try to research cutting techniques, the more conflicting and confusing information you end up with. After failing miserably my first attempt a couple years ago (losing a bunch of muscle), Ive finally got it down for the most part but like you this is my first 'real' cut where Im actually pleased with my progress. Its basically eat real clean, refeed to maintence cals every so often (about every 7-10 days seems to work for me) - and never underestimate the fat loss power of cardiovascular training. Dont believe any of that 'cardio is catabolic' BS. Sure, too much of it is, but as long as you keep your sessions between 20 - 45 minutes you're good.

Post workout cardio is actually pretty beneficial in terms of fat loss because your glycogen stores are depleted after weight training. I like to keep heart rate around 130-140Bpm, so its either a light jog or a brisk pace one the elliptical machine.

I used to work in a restaurant too, so I know you're running your ass off:) Its probably enough, but it seems like the more cardio I do, the faster the fat comes off. Right now Im running ~15 - 18 miles a week - I sit on my ass all day at work though so I kind of have to.

As for controlling appetite, the most effective supplement Ive tried by far is the ephedrine/caffiene stack. Not only does it acclerate fat loss but Im not nearly as hungry and sometimes I even have to remind myself to eat.

A low dose of ephedrine (start with ~6mg 2x per day) combined with USP Labs C2, or Desginer Supplements Basic Cuts would be a great addition to any cutter.

In the future, you may want to keep the bulking cals to only around +500 - 800 over maintence. I did the 5000 cals a day thing too for a while and I definitely got big, but with a good amount of chunk that Im working my ass off to cut off now. From now on its lean bulk only for me, but i guess it depends what your goals are.

yeah when i started the bulk in december i was 172 14% bf got all the way up to 195 at my current BF% whatever it may be and i knew it was time to get rid of some fat. But it was by far my most succesful bulk yet. Gonna attempt a more lean bulk approach after this cut during the summer into next year and we'll see how that goes. I was also on x-factor for most of the bulk so im not sure whether or not i can give some credit to that as far as building muscle and keeping fat off. Ever since adding USPlabs products i lowered caloric intake to the point where i was maintaining a weight of 195 and my strength went through the roof as you can tell with my log. I sure hope im succesful in this cut. I would liek to hire a dietician sometime possibly, but first i'de like to experiment and see what works for my body. If things go wrong ill start over and then get some help from bobo.

Felt really good today. Had some practice in physical therapy today. My friend brought in his friend who had surgery done on his elbow, they cut tendons and muscle and went through physical therapy but didn';t do anything with it for 3 years. So i put him on a nice and slow routine to help strengthen his arm before he fries bigger fish. Just 5-10 mins of stretching bicep, tricep and forearms, then 3 sets of light high rep db curls, light wrist curls, light db kickbacks. I also gave some info to another gym friend on some techniques to help regenerate his bad back. I also help some new kids by teaching them how to deadlift, shoulda saw them just bend over and pick it up... I felt pretty good about myself, this is deffinately the job I want to do. It will be really neat to see how his arm responds to the routine I gave him. Once again 30 mins of cardio, felt very hot today... sweating much more. Probly has much to do with added cAMP and Retain.

Nice produtive day! Bench for reps up a whole 15 lbs since last time i think... Great stuff. DB incline I really focused on the negative holding it for like 10 seconds on the way down for last 2 reps took a lot out of me... dips were suprisingly great... usually do BW for 11-12 added 25lbs and got 6 reps.

Did 30 mins of low intensity cardio after... my heart was going crazy... was just starting to walk 1 min in at a pace that would usually give me a hr of 129-130 and my HR came back as 147... i was like what!? slowed it down to 2.2 mph and got it down to 135 and then it went down to 129 so i upped it to 3.5 with a 1.5 incline over 15 mins and it stayed at 135. Wierd. Could have been a couple things... usually I take 1 stim-x and tha it in the morning, this time i took one 45 mins preWO. Also, i was dumb i was putting my retain pill in a baggy and just out of reflex when i got a pill in my hand i swallow it... well i swallowed it.. woops. I took a pill about 1 hour before so i was like... hmmm. I was sweating like crazy today in school. Was sitting in my chair with my zip up sweatshirt unzipped and sleeves rolled up and i move my back forward and it's sticking to the chair... i sweat all the way through my sweater. Talk about swamp ass. veins in arms slowly popping out... I think i might be a very veiny person with a lower BF... when i was at 14% bf with less muscle i was starting to see a lot of veins in my upper chest, quads, calves, arms... that could be neat.

at first i thought it was gonna be a bad work out because my shoulders were just not pushing today. Then i hit the deadlifts and last week i could do 290 for 4 and evry hard. This week 295 for 6 i had 1 more in me and then a hard 315 for 4... VERY happy on that one... a +25lb increase in a week, while cutting. And i hit 3 plates for reps which is kinda cool. Well thats about it gotta get my oil changed. Been under a lot of stress lately, will see how this effects my workouts. Very little sleep, glad i got the beta test in. I am on spring break now. So beginning monday i start albuterol.

As far as fat loss goes deffinately noticing some increase in definition of upper body, sorta on my top 2 abs and somewhat on my quads.

Also i think i popped something in my forearms... cuz i a patch of blood blister dealies running along the middle. Donno what it could have been from, maybe deadlifts.

edit: bleeeh they taste nasty... yeah this deffinately isn't powerfull haha... that is tolerable this was ... bleh. I go as far as to put water in my powerfull bottle and get all the powder residue off the sides and drink the water, thats not addiction to powerfull is it? I just want every last drop... i could stop if i wanted to... really.

side note: Arm is .25 inches larger, really gotta buy the stretch mark cream tomorrow.

started albuterol today, tooks first dose of 4mg at 9:30 am , gonna take second dose 2 hours before cardio at around 12 noon.

I might be taking this week off of upper body, because my wrist is killing me. I believe it was the wrist curls. This week is a 3 day split for weights, so we will see how I feel by wednesday. Increased the dose of cissus to make help heal it, believe it's the tendon and partially the joint. Never doing wrist curls again... Will stick to other forearm work.


Ceosm now that i think about it, if you are going to realy send me a free product,... you don't have any of that beta fat burner laying around do you?

Today kinda sucked, I just felt like poo all day... Whatever.

I did a light day at the gym... my wrist is still not in good shape so if i can't work upper body then im gonna work lower body multiple times this week.

Again pretty light day, but because i was doing ATG my legs felt very worked, my form is getting better. My partner even said "damn dude you are going low, get the toilet paper" then he put on 275 and did above parallel squats

Albuterol = way bad heartburn... bad during squats.

Did 30 mins of walking keeping HR at 130-140


gonna do a little more cardio tonight.

It might be last week catching up with me. Had some problems with sleep, but now im fine since i got the sleep aide beta.
 
Wrist still hurts so no bicep work today just back.went lighter and higher reps to take it easy.

Suck, which i could be doing my normal routine but OH well. Vascularity is rising. Not sure how the albuterol is working, I got it from IBE and i don't "feel" anything... maybe a little but im not sure. Been getting my body temp and it's been at around 99 degrees most of the time.

Gonna take it tomorrow right when i wake up and then after first dose, see if anything changes... could be a faulty bottle, but maybe not. I do feel that cardio is getting much easier and i find myself increasing the speed and the incline much more than i had before taking albuterol.

I cannot wait til my wrist feels better, i miss lifting. A week off most muscles isn't to bad, it's probly good for me. I just hope my wrists is better in time for next week i think it will.

I think i feel the albuterol working, my temp was up to 99.9 today so i think it's working, felt pretty sweaty today too. Took in 2200 calories today in total, it was hard but i did it... i was so hungry today, im just so used to eating tons of food. Veins in upper chest are slowly popping out it's pretty neat. Along with huge veins on my neck. Veins in forearms are still below the fat for the most part sometimes they pop out but today they seemed a little hidden. Did 26 mins of cardio today... tried a little more intense of cardio today kept HR at around 145.

Going to party tomorrow night, no worries I will be responsible because im onna boat load of stuff right now so drinking will be light and casual... im not a big fan of getting overly smashed anyways and im such a light weight a few shots will get me done for the night. It's spring break i mean cmon i have to at least do some kind of partying :)

Ceosm any word on that free bottle? I hate to sound like a begger on that, but when there are possibilities for freebies on USPlabs stuff I get kinda giddy. I'll try to emal you if I can find your address.

Just an update as far as things go... I decided to drop the powerfull and save it for a later stack seeing how i've been on powerfull for a couple months I wanted to let my body get back to a level of normalcy. But because I am still taking cAMPHIBOLIC im gonna continue the log til the end of the bottle.

My weight is staying pretty constant, need to eat less i suppose... diet hasn't been dead on due to getting back into the swing of things since break is over.

Monday:

Squats 230x6 230x5 230x4 (Very slow negative)
Legpress 5 plates each side x 2 x4-6 Very slow negative
Deadlift 315x6 320x4 (very happy about that)

Calve raises 4 plates both sides smith

Decided this week im going to really focus on the negative portion of lifts, usually I would stop if i couldn't do anymore but I decided to push it a little more than usual this week, as I slacking off liek I had to last week due to my wrist.

my weight was 184-185 this morning after going to the b-room. So far about a 6-8 pound loss. But generally my weight has stayed the same when I weigh myself after my workout so we'll see how much I weigh by then today. I feel like I might be losing a little muscle, but it's hard to say...
 
Sorry bout the delay on my update! Been really busy as far as homework goes!

Well, here's what I decided. Im going to finish the bottle of cAMP and then begin bulking again... Im down to 185 and much more vascular and infact I have soem new bulging veins in my calves which is very neat. Even though i didn't lose much stomach/lovehandle fat im happy with the result. But i just love bulking so I think im gonna go really clean this time around. Last time I had like candy sometimes and I cheated a bit, but not this time. Im going to be testing scivation's Anagen so i figured that It would be beneficial to bulk while using that product even though it's supposed to be helpful cutting as well.
Strength is down a smidge, not a lot but a little bit. Feeling pretty good about myself. I deffinately think the albuterol i got from IBE was bunk the stuff does nothing for me, but im taking it anyways unless the effects are really that little. Diet has been going good, eating at around 2350 kcals everyday still. But now slowly bumping that up to begin bulking. I only have a few days left of cAMP. I'll be giving my overall review of powerfull, cissusRX and cAMP in a few days, ending the log.

For the price of cissusRX, PowerFULL, cAMP you will get some serious bang for your buck. This stack gave me stretch marks because I grew so fast, so be careful. All my lifts dramatically increased when I started taking PowerFULL and CissusRX. Also joint pain in my hip and shoulder has been completely cured. They never bother me anymore. PowerFULL helped me get a good nights sleep and so increased my energy levels. Also gave a nice boost in Libido. cAMP helped me burn a little fat while keeping most of the muscle.

PowerFULL and CissusRX have become staples for me. Might give symmetry a try and see how the anabolic effects are.

USPLabs is the BEST!
 
Nice log Viper, the products worked well as part of a cutting regimen as well. Looking forward to trying them in a bulk!!
