Very Important Points to Remember

I think we all get fixed on what chems will keep what hormone in oil at what mg/ml ratios and forget some important points. You probably all know most of this, but this is just a refresher. I learned it the hard way all over again last week.

1. Don't experiment with large doses. Use no more than 1/10 ml and give it a day or so. Maybe even repeat this. This gives you an idea of sterility, pain, allergies, and whether the solution will crystalize.

2. In my experience, high mg/ml ratios give problems. There are of course a few exceptions, but in general they are a pain for the homebrewer.

3. Just because something looks good in the vial doesn't mean it's going to be stable inside you. I have half of a golf ball under my skin right now because I didn't follow these rules. Crystalline depots are no fun and will put you down.

4. Regarding #3...If the carrier and solvent leave the hormone behind too quickly, you are in trouble. Perfect reason to follow rule #1.

This may be the most uninteresting post on this board but I am trying to save everyone from learning the hard way. Now I'm wonder if I should try and drain this lump or let it go and see what happens. Damn I hate the thought of putting a dart in it.

What were you using, so we can avoid this combination?

leave it alone, it will go away in time. the resent time in depot should always be one of your first considerations when figuring out a formula. (one of the major drawbacks of PEG and PG) I have done this many, many times

As for high mg/ml items I think there are great. but I never use them strieght anymore. I always take them with other gear or sterile oil. Mixing several types of high mg/ml gear has the same effect of lowering the total mg/ml (in lawmans terms the differnt esters of gear don't "see" each other and can't from crystals togather)

4AD base in water suspension caused the lump. But I think most anything would have done it. I was trying to find something that would work sub-q so I could give my muscles a rest.

I'll be trying a water kit from a well known kitmaker shortly who says it will definitely work. We'll see.

Oh yeah, the water/sterility issue was not the problem. Everything was sterile. I just saw that everything was holding fine in the solvent so I added the water one drop at a time to get the smallest particles possible. Forgot one of the golden rules: Crystal depots hurt

Used Peg400 and BA in a 1:1 ratio, then used two ml per gram for the solvent.

I wouldn't recomend that bro. sup q really only works with small amounts of stuff and you have to take way too much 4AD if I remember right.
Just an idea but what about 5%ba and 15%BB with PEG? Holds most anything if you cook it right.
