Ventrogluteal injection site

I understand the site location but I have 2 questions:

1. Can you inject in both this site AND the dorsogluteal (aka "regular buttocks") site?

2. The maximum recommended volume to inject in the dorsogluteal (aka "regular buttocks") site is 3 ml (3cc). What is the maximum recommended volume to inject in the ventrogluteal site?

3cc or 3ml is the maximum recommended amount in a ventrogluteal injection site.

on the other hand have you ever actually put three cc into the same spot....ouch...i dont go over two and would rather do 1 cc into diff spots
