Vegetable Glycerine? pumps?!

Is this some Chuck Norris carryover.

Chuck, your massive and all but come on Chuck Norris, don't flatter yourself......J/K

Quick question though for ya, if i wanted to use glycerol soley to pull subconscious water for a temporary thing would you recommenced taking it with only about 8-10 oz water or still a ton of water?

would glycerine help on a ketosis diet, say sepecifically during a carb feed day? dosed through out the day?

glycerol or gylcine doesnt "help" anything, it makes you hold more water than you would normally hold. I use to use it to rehydrate after cutting water the 24 hours before a bodybuilding show before pre-judging. It has nothing to do with "lean muscle mass gains" or "nutrient deliver" or nothing like that.

Mix 1 or 2 tbs of glycine (vegtable) in about 16 oz water. Then get the rest of your fluids like normal. You dont want to over hydrate or use 2 much or you will get headaches.

Just to clarify, glycerine/glycerol is not the same thing as glycine.

glycerine is used to make explosives. glycerol is that flakey powder that looks like hungry jack mash potatoe mix that everyone puts in their creatine products to make u think u gained 5lbs in one week, veg. glycine is a clear sweet liquid that hydrates you and gives pumps. consistancy of syrup.

AFAIK, glycerine and glycerol are synonymous.

The flakey powder you're talking about is Glycerol Monostearate.- Invalid Link Removed
The syrup-like sweet liquid is Vegetable Glycerine. - Invalid Link Removed

Glycine is an amino acid. - Invalid Link Removed

I thought something sounded off here. I know glycerine is used to make explosives but isnt that what we are discussing here? It is a certain extract from veggies?

What is the glycine used for?same idea?

I feel like im back in chem class with all these terms sounds close to the same but waaayyyy different..

Just found this on Wiki:

In the human body, approximately half of the daily creatine is biosynthesized mainly in the vertebrates by the use of parts from three different amino acids - arginine, glycine, and methionine. The rest is taken in by alimentary sources mainly from fresh fish and meat. Ninety-five percent of creatine is later stored in the skeletal muscles, with the rest in the brain, heart, testes, inner ear, hair cells, and other organs and cells.

No. Some people(like PA) use Glycine post-workout because it is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It will help calm your nerves down after a workout(especially if you use stims Pre-WO) which should lead to better CNS recovery.
