Ok, I'm not sure fi this was posted before, but I can't find it when I do a search so I thought I'd share for folks that aren't familiar with this resource.

The USDA has a database of nutritional values. Just about anything you want to eat they have a COMPLETE nutrient breakdown for.

I used that site to plan my contest diet. It allows you to punch in any serving size you want; via grams, individual items, by volume, etc.

I'm sure a ton of you are already familiar with the site, but since I didn't see a link anywhere else I figured I'd post for those you don't know about it since it is so useful.

Thanks for the link. I've been using caloriecounter.com, and there alot of thinkgs they don't have info on.

stupid question, but if I cook chicken on one of those george foreman grills, what does that count as? roasted?

That's one thing that gets on my nerves about USDA. It's information overload sometimes when I just want something simple. That's why I keep my diet fairly regular these days. It's just easier to track.

I had the same problem. That's how I counted my grilled chicken; as roasted. In reality the only difference is likely that roasted chicken probably has more water weight.

So basically, the way the food is prepared is how you would classify it? Kind of like the same thing as fitday? Grilled I usually go with roasted and baked usually has a baked option. I know most of us use Olive Oil to cook chicken breast as well, what do you guys classify that as?
