US Customs duties on UK orders?

I just placed my first international order from a UK supplement dealer for about $800 in supplements (legal supplements). Order is being shipped via DHL. Any idea of if I will have to pay customs for such an order and if so how do I do this? Will the carrier give me the bill upon delivery or will more than likely will I not have to pay anything? Tried to read up on this online and seems like you need a freakin law degree to interpret the customs website article!

Hopefully nothing if customs doesn’t even open the package. I read on DSL’s website they will pay it for the customer, then you have to pay them back to get the package. This would convient.
