Hey all,

I feel kinda dumb even asking because I'm pretty sure I know the answer. Alas, I'll ask anyway.

Started Ursa Major I believe on 1/28/23 at 10 pumps. A day or two after, I'm suddenly sick with the worst sinusitis I've had in I can't remember how long. OTC meds weren't helping, neither was any amount of rest or anything. I would eventually feel a bit better, then like that, symptoms return.

Finally caved in about 8 weeks later and saw my primary doctor who assumes sinusitis and says "yeah it's been bad this year, lasting 6-8 weeks for many".. Okay, so I'm prescribed the basics, Amoxicillin and Methylprednisolone.

I take the dosages to a tee, and boom, after feeling amazing, I'm sick literally the day I'm done with the meds. Call doctor back, now prescribed Doxycycline Hyclate and Prednisone. Again, I feel amazing, and have one dose of the Doxycycline left to finish today. Problem is, I'm now feeling a tickle in my throat and post nasal drip as if I'm about to be sick any minute now.

Prior to this year, I've been sick at most twice a year with a sinus thing that lasts 3-7 days and gone. Only changes this year are: caloric deficit (trying a legit cut for the first time in forever), added cardio, and Ursa Major (I apply to traps/shoulders).

I feel like there's no way it's Ursa, and really want to blame this gross world and all the new illnesses running around. I just NEED it to be ruled out before I talk to my doctor again. They want to refer me to an "ears/nose/throat specialist" but I'm not sure I can afford a specialist visit.

Any tips, suggestions, experiences - anything is appreciated. Maybe I'm overreacting at the moment, but the fact that I feel another sickness coming on, TWO months after my initial sickness, it's just demoralizing at this point.

EDIT: Not to make this post even longer, but I've even recently attempted to better my home environment and eating habits alongside the caloric deficit. Staying on top of dusting my place like crazy, sleep with an air purifier now, eating more fruit/vegetables, etc. I'm so desperate to be well again because I otherwise feel like my healthiest self in a while, dietary/cardio wise.

I would like to say it’s most likely a coincidence

Never heard of this and been following the product since inception. Simply cease using it and see if “it” clears up.

Is Ursa the only supplement that you take?

I would start with the old adage, an apple a day will keep the Dr away!

Here is the thing, you could be allergic to ursolic acid or any of the other things in the formula. I think the easiest way to tell would be to cease usage for a week or two to see if anything changes. especially since you are all but done with your meds.

have you tried any of our other products in the past? they would have somewhat similar ingredients in the carriers. if you used any of the other things successfully before, then you could rule out the carrier for the most part.

While it would seem odd, it could be product/carrier related, so just stop trying to restart it for now and focus on your diet and cardio as able. However, what stood out to me was the “dusting your place like crazy.” Could he possible dust allergies and/or mold exposure. There could be dust and mold in your air purifier. Donate that to Goodwill and buy a new one. Today.

Possibly pick up a home mold test kit at Lowe’s. Also today.
