Is this the same formula as the original, from maybe 1994 or so, or did that one have ephedra? I looooooved the stuff! Thanks!

The orginal had ephedra.

I'm sort of skeptical how good this could be without - unless they put something like sulbutiamine (or any of these new huge energy boosting molecules) in it.

OK, time to kick it old school....

1) Does anyone remember Hot Stuff?

2) For those of you who remember the original UO...around 1997 or so, it was reformulated the first time, I believe that's when they took the ephedra out of it. I was duped into buying a can of it (was about $40 at GNC, IIRC) and it was OK, but nothing like the original. Then I believe another company altogether bought the name and made an even weaker version, this would have been late 90s-early 2000s. Again I bought a can of it and it sucked even worse.

But I am 99.9% positive that it was a completely different company that made the original versus the last version that I know of. If memory serves, the "real deal" was made by Next, whom I believe was owned by Dan Duchaine. And I think Champion or Cytosport made the revised version.

Anyone?

EDIT:

OK I checked the Planetary site. It isn't listed by manufacturer, it just is under the category Pre-Workout. My slow dialup won't let me see the enlarged picture. Who makes it?

Next Proteins makes this one. I imagine they dont want to release the "original" due to lawsuits, if I remember right, it had a hell of lot of ephedra and caffeine in it.
BTW, you can still buy Hot Stuff at Vitamin Shoppe.

Next Proteins/Nutrition made both the original and revised versions.

Does the Hot Stuff sold today compare to the old at all? Last time I think I saw it, the label said Hot Stuff XXX.

Who the heck made it anyhow? I think it was a company called something like Nationwide Health Foods.

Seems I remember the original Ultimate Orange had Clen in it? circa 91, maybe getting it confused with something else, but I remember people getting some bad reactions, rashes etc, or was it the original Hot Stuff, I know it got pulled after about 1 year and re-released in a clean version.

Anyway it's all about name recognition, it will get you elected and it can make you money!
