Not trying to step on Rodja's toes (he's probably just busy with other stuff), but I got curious. The scores are:

I did f'ing horrible. At least I got the two main fight right and the Irvin/Silva fight was a fluke.

Well damn I am just going to listen to Randy Couture from now on! He called both upsets! But I mean damn how could you have guessed Houston Alexander over Jardine in a 1st rd. knockout lol.
 
Couture's only right about 70% of the time in his picks for the Fight Network, he's not as reliable as the best of us here. That's just on par with straight picking odds favorites.

That's the truth, do the numbers. I have, cause I'm doing this with real money.

Great fighter, just ok fight picker.
 
I hate to brag, but many people do refer to me as the fight professor. Watch out for me on the next pics contest where I'm sure to score a bagel. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaar Conehead(H. Alexander).

For the record, I actually liked Blatnick even though he was rather goofy. Didn't know he wrestled Karelin until recently. Now I'll go practice my "entangled arms".
 
One) That's your interpretation, not necessarily the implied intent but Two) in this case, correct, Randy Couture, has, like anyone else, skills far greater than mine but demonstrably not in this one.

Three) Guilty on the ego, my spin on that would be it's one of my core beliefs that one must cultivate a great measure of internal certainty in order to be successful in an environment of great uncertainty, that's how and where I operated for a long time. It's a fine line between this and perceived arrogance, and I do cross that line frequently, but again, my belief, better to err over that side than to live too far back from that line.

Four) That's along the lines of what I squared away last night and Five ) Yesterday's Blatnick would be an welcome upgrade, IMO, from Today's Goldberg, that guy's a waste of space.

Anyway, 'nuff said.

For the Season, done like NASCAR does the Winston Cup, not a fan but it's a good way to credit individual ability and the way Teams and Leagues do it - not an accumulated score, too lazy, but in the top three in every contest that I chose to be in, no one else has been able to do that.

It's the norm here for threads to trail off into OT. This is unlike any other subforum at AM, we cut up and on each other faster and better than anywhere else.

There's a steady crew of smart regulars here, and you ain't seen nothing yet, once Alex and Jas and Savage and Beo and all the others get going, it's slapstick down and dirty. I try to stay above it all, me oh so proper, but I often have to defend myself from their Juvenile and Perverted Jabs.

I'll stop BSing for the **** of it so much,which I've done a lot lately, and prove that I have what got me cred, some real insight on the what, why and how of this game.

We have since UFC 67 , I believe, and a few Prides, and will continue to, it's a good way to generate interest, opinion and analysis and pad our rep points. For those of us, cough, who can win.

**** you, jas - it's not my fault that my Honker greatly exceeds my Inchworm. As stated, I'm too oft the target of their sordid swipes, I don't why they always pick on me, the burden of being a mild mannered midget that bullies slap around. :twisted:
