Her last 3-4 fights people were mentally wearing down Rousey. Playing games. Getting in her head. She was feeding off it. But with Holmes, she lost her ****. I don't think it was bad coaching. It was ego and emotional instability for lack of a better term. She thought she was the best and would just charge and take lots of hits. She was mad AF and didn't fight smart.

Not taking anything away from Holly at all. Her footwork was insane. Better than most male boxers I've ever seen. First athlete ever to be a world boxing and world MMA champion. She was patient and laid an absolute beating on Rousey.

Rematch July 9th. UFC 200. If RR is cleared.

Now she knows not to stand up and bang with a real striker.

I like Rousey, but Holms is my girl specifically because she's a striker. Its my game.

imo Rousey has had it fairly easy. Her competition up to this point was not on her level. Not even close.

This next fight will be interesting though. I guarantee Rousey will go for takedown after takedown. That much is certain.
 
I hope Rousey won't let Holmes get in her head. If they both fight cool and collected it'll be a great match. Hope RR is cleared, but after the beating she took I could see her needing more time. 3-6 months before she could eat an apple and 7 months to fight? Seems a little quick

In RR defense, Holmes hasn't exactly had great matches either. Women's UFC is still kinda new though. Rousey is one of the best in Judo in the world though so hard to find competition on that level. Her striking has come A LOOOOOONG way though

Agree on all points. I like them both. But I'm a striker (kickboxer), so I give a little favoritism to Holmes.
 
So McGregor v. Aldo... What are y'all thinking?

Apparently both are TERRIFIED to fight and lose. McGregor has already set up sort of a safety net if you will incase he loses. Something to the extent of you can't be the best unless you lose and things like that
 
I've been watching it every day for the last 2 weeks! I can never get tired of Holly beating Ronda. She's such a humble woman. :)

McGregor is so over the top that I'm pulling for him. He must be annoying as piss to be around for 5 minutes, but entertaining from afar.

I'd be tapping asap if I was Holm and Rousey got a hold of my arm. I doubt she'll be taking any chances this time.
