Hello friends,

I started TRT 2 months ago and my levels were the following:
Estradiol 28.6
Testosterone 375 ng

My stats
5'8
175 pounds. I'm basically skinny fat

I'm 40 years old and always feel exhausted and I also have brain fog and memory issues. My Doctor decided to put me on TRT. Here is my regiment:
200 mg testosterone per week
1mg tablet of anastrozole per week
2 HCG injections a week 50 units each.

I called my Dr 2 days ago and told him that I'm still not feeling any therapeutic benefits. I still have low energy, sex drive non existent, no motivation to work out and even some depression, I basically feel like crap. He ordered some labs and the results came in today.

Estradiol: 59.8
Testosterone: 2,578 ng (not a typo)

I was shocked at the results. My doctor will be calling me tommrow regarding the results. Has anyone one ever gone through anything like this? I am very worried and concerned. Thank you for your time.

How many days after your injection was blood drawn? I'd expect you will dropped to 100mg weekly from this point on. Those are over twice what I get on the same doses.

Hello I took my last injection 4 days ago. Im just concerned why my body responded this way to the therapy and why I feel worse. Thanks for responding

I'd suggest starting over at ground zero and do test only for 6 weeks to get that dose dialed in. Then add the Arimidex/AI if needed to get E2 under control. Afterwards start the hCG to get those doses correct. When you begin everything at once it's hard to dial it in.

Thank you for the advice. I just got a call from my doctor. Like you said he dicided to cut my testosterone dosage in 1/2. Anastrozole will now be taken 2 times per week same dosage. The HCG dosage will also remain the same. He claims to have never seen anyone's testosterone sky rocket that high while on therapy, and he really didn't have a good explanation. I'm wondering if it's even safe for me to continue.

Those numbers aren't going to kill you, not even on cycle testosterone levels. You should feel like a million dollars...

I totally agree with you. I should feel like superman but I don't. I feel like sh**. That's what is really concerning me the most. The doc told me when testosterone levels are that high it can sometimes create negative effects. Not sure how accurate that it is but he really didn't have a clear answer for my continued sluggishness.

Have you had general blood tests taken as well? How was liver function and lipid profile?

Yes. All my initial blood work including my PSA came back within range. I'm hoping once everything gets dialed in I will start feeling some benefits of the therapy.

Are you on any other supplements? Some of them can give false postives for Test levels. Those are really high Test numbers for the dose and I'd expect higher estrogen even on 1mg Arimidex. Honestly, your results don't make much sense. Those numbers are closer to 375-400mgs at trough with a weekly injection.

Another explanation is you're testes are hyper responding and you had low T due to LH/FSH issues.
